Held a Paper Towel Holder

I used this to mount a paper towel holder on the cabinet underneath my sink. I accidentally placed this to high the first time into low the second time so I actually had to take this off. Fortunately I was able to remove the paper towel holder without damaging the cabinet both times. On the third try I position this perfectly. We have been using the paper towel holder now for a couple of weeks. The tape is holding great. I have no concerns about the strength. I plan to use this on other applications. I was very happy with the quality. Highly recommend.

Bought this to hang up my Ring doorbell so I didn't have to screw into my siding. It has literally been hanging for over a year with the same gorilla tape I installed it with. You can usually purchase cheaper at Wal-Mart $. I can't live without this gorilla tape. A must have for all your home projects.

Exactly what you get!

I tried 3 other methods to hang up some poster board in my daughters’ room. Nothing worked! This tape is so strong and durable. Truly blew me away that it actually worked!!

Gorilla Tough & Clear Double Sided Adhesive Mounting Tape, Extra Large, 1" x 150", Clear, (Pack of 1) I bought this to hang my picture mantle ledge above my fireplace because I did not want to drill holes in my future wall tile. Holding quite well so far even with the heat that rises from the fireplace. In terms of removal it actually removes cleanly. I use this product on others things around the house and after one year I was able to remove it by using my finger and pushing it slowly off. update : well? after one month of being happy with the adhesive? the shelf and everything on it fell down and smashed to bits. and i did NOT even use the fireplace so heat isnt the cause of failure. So ? maybe think twice if you wanted to use this for something like shelving.

I bought this because of one Bad Review that someone wrote about this Product. She sent a picture with her Shelf coming off the wall because she said the Glue is not strong enough. If you look at the picture, the wall was the one with a ruined paint, why because this tape was so strong the Wall Paper came off with the tape still stuck on the shelf. Shelves are not supposed to be installed with just a Tape. You need brackets. This tape is not to blame. I bought it & I used it. It is the best double sided tape I have ever had. It is so strong. So YES buy it but use it properly. People like to blame the product that works because their ideas don't. Anyway.... 10 stars to this product.

Needs better warning about removing.

Great quality of material. Does its job and as sturdy as claimed. However, just twisting our object from the wall to remove it does NOT solve all removing problems. There should be a warning to check the quality of walls/paint/material before applying and removing a heavy object from an inside wall of the house. I tried to twist a '70's wall phone from its Gorilla MountingTape to replace it at a different place. As I was twisting the phone from the wall, a large part of paint with a large first thickness of paper from a regular plaster wall came off, exposing an unsightly piece of plaster with the tape still stuck to it. Paper from the plaster wall was maybe 4 times the size of the tape (we are NOT talking paper from old wallpaper here)! Quite an ugly mess thanks to Gorilla Double Sided Tape!

As one would expect it sticks like mad, however it is real tough to separate and in the process it can backlash onto itself. I guess slow and easy carries the day. I have not attempted to remove it as yet so I cannot comment. Perhaps an addition to this review would be in order down the road.

Hung 4 pound Nest Cam on home siding

Reporting in after 4 months. Have two outdoor Nest IQ cams mounted to the siding of my house with this. Spent way too long researching much more expensive tape (days of research) and just gave this a shot. Holding up great, through storms direct 12 hour mid-summer heat and sunlight and water exposure. We'll see how it does through the winter, but so far I'm really happy, and have a ton of it left over. Surprised at all the people using this on painted walts and being shocked when it breaks and rips the paint off. It should be obvious that's. not the tape's fault, you're trying to hang something literally on dried *paint*. Try wood, metal or plastic
