Works great. Even works in a car!
I've been using this stuff on a number of things for a while and am quite impressed. It's much better than the classic double sided foam tape we've all been using for so long. It's more flexible so you can push it into corners and cracks better and made of a much better material. If you have to remove it later, it's not easy per se, but unlike the old foam material it doesn't rip apart, so once you get a corner started you can just pull on it carefully to get it off. This stuff actually works so well I used some in my old car just to temporarily hold something in place. Despite very hot temperatures in there (that car runs hot!) and plenty of dust and road grime building up on and around it, it held up for at least a year such that I simply never even bothered to replace it. (Mind you, it may not be strong enough to hold anything that puts any real pressure on it, but for simple things like what I did it seems to actually work.) It's probably a silicone material, so it seems to hold up pretty well over time even under punishment like that. All in all, I'm impressed. It's not as cheap as the old foam stuff, but you get what you paid for. Use the cheap foam stuff for simple tasks and this for the tougher tasks.

It has held down my cute, but flimsy, doormat perfectly in heavy wind!

They definitely hold up!
I tell you what if you clean the area/ prep with just some rubbing alcohol and let it dry before sticking this tape is HARD to move. I would highly suggest that you make sure that’s spot you want it before hand and I’ve used in under the hood of my personal vehicle, inside my work truck and even in my house. So metal, aluminum, wood, cloth, leather and glass applications and it don’t matter always the same outcome.

Better than Scotch 3M, holding garage door keypad on concrete wall
I'd been using 3M Scotch outdoor mounting tape for years and have always been pleased with it. My uses for it have typically been on smooth surfaces and it's worked just fine. Recently, I needed to mount a garage door keypad on a concrete wall. The 3M tape would just not work. The wall is concrete and is a bit rough. It's not smooth like a concrete garage floor, but it's not as textured as brick. The 3M tape would hold the keypad up for a day or two, then I'd come home to find it laying on the ground. I didn't want to drill into the concrete wall to screw mount it, so I gave this Gorilla Tape a try. It's been several months now, and it's still holding strong. The keypad we have requires you to slide the cover up in order to access the buttons. When I had it mounted with the 3M tape, you could feel the unit wiggle as you slid the cover up. With this Gorilla Tape, there is no wiggle at all. Holding onto the sides of the keypad, I can't even purposefully wiggle it when I try to. I have a feeling if or when I ever want to take it down, I'll have problems doing so. I'd much rather have that to deal with, than finding the keypad on the ground because the mounting tape had failed. Fantastic tape.

Surprisingly good
A bit of a faff getting the backing film off, unless you have decent fingernails you’ll have trouble. But I’m pleasantly surprised to find that so far this tape works. It’s sticking security lights to the brick wall by the front door and once I’d held them in place for a couple of minutes they do seem to be firmly attached. I’ll add an update if they end up on the ground in a couple of days but so far so good.

Strong
This is some strong tape. Only problem I had was its strength was not the best suited for lateral loads as the tape would appear to hold firmly but over time depending on the weight of the item it is holding up it would start to lose adhesion near the upper portion of the tape. Other than this the tape I found works great for vertical loads and is suprisinly strong in that manner. I do believe double sided tapes in general are not very good with lateral loads. Overall I would buy this again and is definitely worth the money.

This tape is pretty kick ass
I attached a plastic device to wood using about 4" of the stuff and the tape peels off before the pos plastic device starts breaking. Light-years ahead of the double-sided scotch tape. However, $10 is slightly over-priced for the perceived value I'm finding. I'm happy though and it's a new staple around the house that's forsure. I suggest it to the common handy-man.

Best mate to stick my reg plate
Used this to stick my reg plates on. Put about 6 strips on each plate. Front does have a slight curve but the surface areas are smooth. The tape seems as good as anything else I’ve tried. It feels like it would be hard to pull the plates off let alone them fall off. I’d have to say this is perfect and I’ve made the right choice. Incase anyone is wondering I’ve stuck plates onto a Audi TT mk3 and it’s worked a treat.
