Great straps!! BECAREFUL when ordering different sizes!!
The product itself is great, seems to be well made for the price and overall a great buy. But beware when ordering that the listing is currently screwed up a little bit when ordering different sizes...I'm honestly not sure what the problem is, but when I added a 4 pack of 24" straps to my cart it shows up fine as a 4 pack of 24" straps in the cart, but magically when you checkout, it becomes a 4 pack of 12" straps (which is what I ended up receiving). Currently, it seems like there's no way to purchase a 4 pack of 24" straps, and the only way to do this is to get two 2 packs of them, but the price is slightly higher that way. Hopefully Amazon will fix this listing problem soon.

Can't have enough of these!
I can't have enough of these type of storage straps around. I love using them to strap a few fishing rods together to travel, or to strap them to my day pack, etc. Great for all kinds of gear!

Nice strap. 18" strap for 2.75" - 4.5" diameter objects/bundles with full contact of hook to loop.
The 18" straps arrived on a nice retail card like one would expect to see hanging at an REI or West Marine. From the end of the plastic rectangle loop to where the 4" long section of hook fastener webbing is thermally bonded to the loop fastener webbing is almost exactly 14". See attached image. In order to get full holding power from the strap, you want 100% of the hook webbing end engaged with loop webbing. You don't want it around an object so large that you can't pull the entire 4" end of hook webbing through the rectangular loop. Nor do you want it around something so small that part of the hook webbing is hanging out past the end of the loop material, snagging everything it touches. Therefore, these 18" straps are ideal for securing round bundles ranging from about 2.75" to 4.5". Any smaller or larger and the hook material is not fully engaged, leading to less holding power. Can you go a bit larger or smaller? Sure, but the less hook/loop engagement you have, the weaker the holding power. None of that is meant as criticism. It's simply informational to help you decide which size is best for your purposes. The straps are well-made, sturdy, lightweight, and very compact, making them ideal of backpackers, campers, bicyclists, kayakers, and just about anyone for whom weight and bulk is a concern when choosing their gear.

Long and strong "hook and loop" fasteners!
These wraps have so many possible uses. The most obvious is that you can bundle things for either easier storage or more efficient transport - things like long cords and cables, hoses or things like poles, stakes, etc. But there's really no limit to what you can do - I've used them to help secure my bike on a bike rack (you could also use them to help secure other cargo to racks or in a cargo bed), to bundle cables behind my entertainment center and even for their more standard use - which is to help secure gear if you're out camping, fishing/hunting or for a day on the water. They're easy (and fast, as per the name) to use, just open the velcro (ahem, hook and loop) and put them around whatever you want to secure, feed the end through the D ring and secure the hook and loop fastener again - done. They work when hot/cold, wet, etc. just the same. The design is plain which is just fine for an accessory like this - they don't stand out (and you wouldn't want them to). And all that usefulness and versatility for a VERY low price (for 2)! Rarely something is a no regret decision - but these certainly are. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

Endless uses on and off trail
Well made product with many applications in home and on trail. For an example home use, I grabbed an unruly USB extension cord and tamed it into a tight loop. For an example backpack use, I rolled up rain pants and snugged them up with a fast wrap strap. Who wants to dig in their pack for rain pants when the deluge hits? I like to roll them up and lash them to the outside or top of the pack for fast access. Unlike prior similar straps, which used hook and loop sewn to nylon web or elastic, the entire Gear Aid fast wrap was loop backed, so the strap could be hooked at any point, making it much more versatile. Simple, lightweight and well executed design.

Good velcro strap
3/4 inch by 24 inch. 10 inches flat folded back on itself with velcro attached, and it can go around a 7.5 inch diameter roll. Decent quality.

Keeps My Fishing Rod Bag Tight
I have my fishing rods in a military style duffel with the top mount and clip strap. With 4 rods, there is enough wiggle room for the bag to slide down a few inches and get hung up on the eyelets. With these straps I am able to tighten the top of the bag once clipped in and keep the bag from sliding down when I prop them up against the truck or wall. All in all these work great for my application. The straps are stiff and the velcro holds very well since the strap goes through the buckle and bends back onto itself.
