I always read details of products. That way I know what I’m getting. This cage has had a bunch of negative reviews. Yes it’s a small cage. But it would definitely work for travel or for a robo hamster. Now with that said…. This cage did not come with an instruction page, but was easy enough to put together. Cage came with a small water bottle. Which leaked.. However with adjustment of the tube it stopped leaking. As for over all structure it’s built decent. So with everything said this isn’t a bad cage to purchase for small breed hamsters or even mice. My robo seems to like it just fine.

Too small for hamster or mouse

This product is very small. It’s fine if you are transporting an animal back and forth to the vet but do not make this a permanent home. You also have to take all the stuff inside out because it is very cramped and the poor animal can’t move around in it. The cage is super small and the door doesn’t latch so you will need to clip it so they don’t escape. The cage is 10”x12”x 8”, the ad doesn’t put the dimensions and it appears much larger in the photo than it really is. If you are looking for a permanent home for your new critter, this is not it.

Not a good product

Not a good product in my opinion. It was difficult to put together, it felt very flimsy, and it seemed too small for a hamster to be living in it. I never actually put a hamster in it because before I could do that I realized it would be better for me to just not use it. I kind of wish I had returned it but life got busy and I didn't make the time to return it.

Great for temp cage. Awful for full time use

This cage is perfect if you need a small travel cage for temporary care. Its very cheaply made and doesn't go together well. Its great for travel only and temporary care, but as a full time cage its pointless and super tiny. None of the pieces fit well either.

cute and simple

this is a straight forward metal bar SMALL cage. the box came trashed but the cage inside it was fine. It wasn't bent or destroyed. Yes it took a couple minutes to put it together, yes it got a little difficult to connect the wire clips, but I didn't need tools to do it. The door closes snugly enough in the plastic base that I'm not worried about them escaping. It works perfectly for my two little mice, they are running around it like crazy and they seem to enjoy the ramp and house. Of course I added some sticks at different heights of the bars for them to climb on.

Top doesn’t fit at all

Second update: this worked perfect for a travel cage. My baby was quite comfortable! Update: I bent a couple bars and it’s fine. I would never ever recommend this cage for long term living for any kind of animal. It’s really really small. I got it to transport a baby bird of a small species. Once the bird is fully grown, I’d say this is too small. It’s 100% too small for a full size hamster. This would be totally perfect for what we need it for but the top doesn’t fit.

Affordable and cozy

For its price, it's a great starting home for a young mouse. Mine can't get enough of the wheel, and enjoys the little house during the day. Once it's set in place, it becomes a bit hard to remove the ceiling, though. I suggest finding a way to evacuate the mouse before you try to open it for cleanup, otherwise you might scare the poor thing.

Smaller than I thought

It’s a cute little cage but it is quite small. We have a Russian Hamster so he is small but I think I will eventually replace it with a larger one so he has abit more room.

Very poor quality

I received this cage and it was in pieces. Shipping box was not strong enough. Wires were all bent and the plastics were broken. I wanted to return it, but I could not find all the missing parts that were supposed to be in the box. I want to give this product review an absolute zero in quality and shipping.

Missing the roof

I didn't receive a roof for the cage. If all the pieces were there, it would be cute and worth 5 stars, but it is incomplete, therefore not worth anything really.

La cage contenait des morceaux brisées et je n'ai pas été capable de l'assembler. J'en ai fait venir une autre de meilleure qualité et celle-ci était parfaite. Merci et bonne soirée.
