Good product
Came with broken bulb. The accessories where there except for the seasoning shaker. Max Tool was responsive and replaced items quickly.

Good Bye Microwave Bags!
Love this new popper for our Home Theater! I first ordered a Funtime FT421CR Antique Carnival-Style 4-Ounce Tabletop Hot-Oil Popcorn Popper, Red - but it was damaged in shipping and UPS sent it back without delivery. Great customer service from UPS, saved the hassle of repack and return of damaged unit. This turned out to be a blessing because after more thought we realized a popper with a cart would be more useful, and a black color would better match the decor. The Funtime arrived unharmed this time and I proceeded to assemble the cart....except there were no instructions. I found the assembly manual on the Funtime website - [...] What a handsome unit. Well made, sturdy and lots of storage in the cart for supplies. The popcorn is very tasty and tender (remember to leave the door open while popping to let the steam escape). I bought Great Northern Popcorn, 4-Ounce Portion Packs (Pack of 24)for ease of use. I would recommend this to anyone wanting fresh theater style popcorn for their home. P.S. The Amazon description states that a stainless scoop/measuring set and a stainless topping shaker are included....mine did not include a shaker and the scoop/measuring set was plastic. Not a big deal...but description should be updated.

Works fine but difficult assembling/cheap product
This works fine and makes good popcorn but all of the pieces came extremely banged up and bent. The glass door hinges were bent and wouldn’t work. We had to find a solution ourselves in order to fix it. Additionally the instructions that came with it were for a completely different product so we had to find the real instructions online.

Some good, some bad
What was appealing to me was ‘Safety Tempered Side Glass Panels’. The side panels and back panel are plastic. The front door is glass. You can’t tell the sides & back are plastic, yet. When you feel it and tap on it- you can tell it is plastic. This doesn’t cook/make popcorn any better than the ‘Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper, 12-Cup, White’ for about $9.00 that I also bought here on Amazon. The instructions are terrible and almost worthless. After you read the assembly directions, you have to figure out how it all goes, still- pretty simple. The ‘Block Plate’ is the worst feature. This is the stainless steel door under the front glass door. The block plate is free floating and moves all over the place, here you really get the ‘cheaply made’ factor. The lid to the kettle is a solid piece, covering the whole top of the kettle. Somehow, I imagined each side would be on hinges so the popcorn would flow out the front & back. No so. As the corn pops, it does flow out of the kettle because of the stirring action, of course, you have to be present when the popping slows or stops so you can dump the kettle right away. The lid slides all the way up to the top, where a magnet holds it in place, out of the way. It all works very well. Clean up is a hassle, but only took me about 15 minutes. It does have a heating element under the bottom stainless steel ‘deck’. And it has a sticker on this ‘deck’ that says ‘caution, hot- remove sticker before using’. The sticker is put on with permanent glue. Good luck removing the sticker, took me 30 minutes. My first batch, I used ‘Benchmark 40004 4 oz. pack’- Came out perfect, very good. But again, no better or worse than using ‘Nordic Ware Microwave Popcorn Popper, 12-Cup, White’. This machine is just for the cool factor, the look of it, it’s a gadget. Other than the plastic sides and the cheap ‘block plate’ it is well made & solid.

Size matters
I love popcorn! I mean I could eat it every day. I was going to get a 8oz machine and the misses wanted the 2.5oz unit. We went with the 4oz unit. It was easy to put together but it didn't come with instructions so if your not handy you might have some trouble. The machine looks easy to clean and once together it's a solid unit. There is some tinny stamped parts but the main popcorn maker seems solid. What disappoints is the over all size once a 4oz kit is popped. It's barely the size of a normal pot made on the stove top. If you like popcorn like I do and you have a crew who also want to share in the tasty treat you might want to go a size or two larger. Also since this is a residential use popcorn maker while kettle spindle is turning the kettle spoon gets bound up and the plastic gears sound like they are skipping and popping. Make sure to not over feed the amount of popcorn into it. Long and short, if you want a classic popcorn maker but just want a bowl at a time this is the machine for you, if you want.to make a few bowls at a time go bigger. Cheers

THEATERS OPTIONAL!!!
This machine is fabulous! I love movie theater popcorn but hate going to the movies. This popper allows me to have that popcorn whenever I wish. Assembly was pretty easy. Took a little longer for me since I had to figure out where the cylinders went that fit on the wheels. I also bought the pre-measured popcorn24-5.4 oz. Snap-Paks for 4 oz. Poppers - Yellow Popcorn, Coconut Oil, Buttery Flavored Salt by Snappy Popcorn and the Kernel Seasons movie theater butter flavored topping (Walmart has it). Everything fits conveniently in the compartment in the unit. It is easy to clean. I am one person so this unit is perfect for capacity. I keep it in the corner in the dining room so it is already readily available. 3-4 people should be able to have a normal sized portion per batch.[[

Great machine with no issues!
**Updated as of 10/18/18 - Still works great for us with no issues! We love using this for family movie nights and when our friends come over for backyard movies. Would HIGHLY recommend** Love this popcorn maker. My daughter loves watching the corn pop and we get PLENTY for our family. I use the 4oz prepackaged popcorn and oil packets and this is enough for 2 adults and 2 kids with a little left over. It seems to heat evenly. I'm very pleased and would recommend it. We have more than gotten our money's worth from it coupled with our outdoor movie nights and parties my daughter has had.
