Eazy to use on drywall. Doesn't get "hung up" and very sturdy

Great for tackling large DIY sanding projects
I bought this to sand on a DIY project. I had to strip wallpaper, retape and mud joints on the drywall, and sand over it. I also wanted to sand over the newly-primed walls and the first paint coat to get smoother finishes on the final coat. Finally, I needed to sand a painted plywood floor prior to priming and recoating it. This was project that demanded a tool designed for large-scale efforts. I debated about getting a sander with a shop vac attachment as an alternative. More on this below. This works exceptionally well. Certainly, compared to a hand-block for sanding, I zipped through the walls, ceilings, and floors with ease. I had it attached to a short pole segment. An attachment is also available to do hand-held sanding. I'm not able to comment on it other than to say that, with a short pole, doing walls becomes a "side-to-side" motion with both arms while standing back at a reasonable distance away. I cannot see the same ease of use with the hand-held option. I also lent this to a group of painters that were doing part of the house for us. They loved it too. They especially liked that, compared to a normal pole sanding "block" (rectangular shape), this would not flip over. Get this with 220 grit and 120 grit paper. Use the coarser paper as prep prior to priming. Use the finer paper on the primed and first-coat painted walls. Cautions: This throws up a great amount of dust. Wear a mask, seal off the area you are doing to prevent dust from spreading to other parts of the house, and be prepared to look as though you've been in a dust storm when you are done. I see that Full Circle also has a shop-vac version of this, though it seems less highly rated. It is a trade off on upfront cost and hope the shop vac works versus upfront prep and recognition that extensive dust cleanup will be required. Also, be careful about removing sharp projections (nails or otherwise) on the areas before you sand. They will tear the pad, and it is expensive to replace.

Surprisingly Effective!
Working on a new basement drywall and plaster. This thing works surprisingly well! The bumpers keep it from scratching opposite sides, it sands the right amount of it off at a time. It is kinda large, so you may need a smaller sander or specifically to get edges of plaster, but overall this thing works great! It seemed to be the right grit to actually shave stuff off without putting too many scratches in the plaster. It doesn't work on corners very well, obviously because it's too large, but that doesn't matter. I used a hand held sponge sander to do the job in the corners.

Not too shabby
Full disclosure I do not have a lot of experience to compare this product against. My biggest issues is it getting stuck at certain spots and the seemingly uneven distribution of force in the design. There is also the obvious issue of corners, its round so clearly that will be an issue to begin with, but it also doesnt seem to distribute the force in a way that allows the edges to sand in the same way as the center. But all in all it does what it should. And I haven't had any of the issues people stated about the Velcro coming off (I have changed the velcro at least 5 times now) You will have to kind of pry the sanding sheets off, but that is a good thing in my opinion, I would rather focus for a few moments to remove the sanding sheet than to have the sanding sheet coming loose while I'm trying to use it(just make sure you are separating the right thing before going hulk). I'm not upset that I bought it, I would again probably.

Attaches to standard painting pole
This thing makes sanding walls a breeze. I was able to attach it to my standard extendable Woolster painting pole. It takes a bit getting used to but does a very good job of sanding down uneven spots on the wall. We attach a shop vac hose to the painters pole around where the disc is to capture most of the sanding dust that you'll get. It significantly helps keep the dust down in the air. Be careful when replacing the sandpaper. The foam pad is velcroed to the metal housing. The sandpaper gets velcroed to the pad itself and is a very thin layer. What I am getting at is don't just pull the foam out thinking its part of the sand paper. You can purchase a pack of sandpaper discs for cheap and they will last you your entire house painting project plus more.

Sanding is a dream
This product is amazing! It makes me enjoy sanding. I don't have the fatigue and it sands evenly and easily especially when doing overhead. I feel it speeds up sanding time.

Excellent!
This thing is probably the best purchase I’ve made in 2020. It’s saved me so much time and effort, and I’ve managed to do a pretty good job around the house with it. Saw a chap using it on YouTube and ordered one. Don’t regret it at all!

Good
Saw this on youtube. Works exactly as expected. I haven’t tried others but can recommend this product. Doesn’t catch or flip, easy to get quick results with an extension pole.

WHERE have you been all my life
Fantastic product,,, if you dont have one ,, get one ,, Im a Painter and Decorator and have been for 25 years, no flipping over that you get with other sanding stick heads,,, and as a professional of 25 years i mastered not flipping over previous sanding heads,,, but this product eradicates that problem 100%, you can move quicker and without hindrance.. get it,, you will love it,, ( I would recommend slightly heavier grit than what you normally use,, as this head is padded, it is kinder to the wall)
