I love this toy! My sex-shop flogger is just not doing it for me anymore, but I don't have the money yet to buy a better quality one. This toy is very unique and great for adding variety to your scenes. It is very heavy and thuddy. PLEASE PRACTICE WITH THIS BEFORE USING IT ON YOUR PARTNER! This is a heavy enough toy that you could do actual damage if you were to hit someone too hard in the wrong place. Definitely not a good toy for beginners, as it is very hard to handle, which is why it is getting 4 stars instead of 5. With practice, communication and safe handling, this is a fantastic toy.

Not very tough

Not very tough, I use it a few times and besides the flimsiness of the tool, it's sometimes spread it stells when I hit. All in all it's more for beginners

Not for the faint of heart!

I've tested this on myself extensively before using it with a partner, which I have down twice now. This flogger does not mess around. It definitely takes some getting used to as it's not quite like a traditional flogger in my opinion. When using it, I try to hold it at the neck of the handle where I can hold all 4 ropes flat alongside each other as it helps keep them from bunching up into the strike. When bunched up, they don't sting as nicely. You have to be careful using this as you can't put too much swing into it like you can a leather flogger. I have lightweight and heavy leather floggers and all of them can be enjoyed even with a heavy hit. A heavy hit from this is more similar in sensation to being caned, and it can most certainly break skin if improperly used. Overall, my partner hates this flogger in the best way as its only brought out in severe circumstances. I would not recommend buying unless you are an experienced user or will be using it with an experienced user. As with any toy of this nature, I recommend learning and testing on yourself before using with a partner.

0-60 in nothing flat.

This toy is scary- potentially in the head game good way, potentially in the watch your ass get unintentionally reamed way. My BF said he was a bit anxious because he could tell that the ability of the sensation to get turned up very easily very quickly, and that the buffer between a good intensity and a frightening intensity was very very narrow. THAT SAID- he enjoyed the toy for that reason- he could tell I was being very careful but that if I hadn't been, that he could tell it could have been a really punishing session, which provoked him a bit, which he seemed to appreciate because it created a bit of real uncertainty for him. As another reviewer mentioned, I would agree. When testing the toy on yourself before a sub, notice that a very subtle increase can be proportionally MUCH larger than expected. One can't just go to town with this toy. IT. MEANS. BUSINESS.

Don't get this if you're not after some seriously painful play. There's no way to hit softly with it due to its weight and form - you either whack or you don't whack, and if you whack it's going to leave some fairly obnoxious welts. It's worth the money if that's what you're after, but the handle's wrapping gets a little loose after several uses.

Serious toy, intended for serious use.

This thing means business. Certainly not for the faint of heart.. If you like pain, you've clicked on the right product. It's made of very high quality silicone and in your hand feels just as intimidating as it looks. Whether you have an eager to experiment wife, like my own, or you're purchasing as a novelty conversation item, you will not be disappointed with this choice. Get it if.. you like pain. Stay away if.. being struck with intensely dominating objects make you tear up..

Wouldn't surprise me to find that this is steel belted. Very stiff rubber, not silicone. Unuseable and not returnable.

Overkill for most

I've used this on three ladies, all of whom have at least some kink experience and high pain tolerances. Each of them had a different, not-mentionable-here name for it. So now it's the BAM for short, and I love it. I would recommend it to anyone into heavy impact play, but not newbies. Seriously, unless you can take repeated full-strength swings from a large muscular person holding a regular flogger, you shouldn't be getting in front of even a light swing of this thing. Work your way up to it.

Amazing heavy duty flogger that is well built

A lot of floggers on the market are too gentle for my liking. This one is heavy duty and deals an amazing sting and this is now has become favourite flogger/whip. If you are not into heavier stings this may not be for you, but I personally love it. The quality is amazing and I don't think that the construction could ever wear out.
