Great for getting into small areas
The media could not be loaded. Probably one of the best pruning scissors I've purchased. When it comes time to trim jail you'll want to have at least two sets of pruning scissors on hand. The fine tip makes it a good instrument for precise cuts in and around the buds. The blades don't need much space to work and the integrated spring makes it easy to use for those with hand issues. Another feature about the spring is that it's held in place by two small screws in each handle so you won't have to worry about it popping out during operation. The scissors have two safeties, one being the locking handle and the other a rigid plastic sleeve that protects the blades when not in use. These aren't designed to cut branches and you'll want to invest in a different pair of scissors if that's what you need. Made in Finland and comes with a lifetime guarantee. These are something you'll only have to purchase one time and once you try them out you'll know what I mean.

You can always rely on a product by Fiskars!
Every year, here in Indiana, I put in a combination vegetable/flower garden. It takes up an entire half lot and I am out there from sun-up to sun-down every day unless it pours down rain. I depend on excellent tools and over the years have tried out so many. I have discovered that Fiskars products are more durable and suit my needs better than any other manufacturer of gardening tools, and boy, I have been thru a lot of companies! They have such a vast selection of tools that you can find just about any piece of equipment you could possibly desire! Everything from the large axes and shovels, down to the smallest clippers and sharpeners. They are not only durable and keep their edge, but also appealing to the eye and, (very importantly) easy to find in the garden when you are distracted, lay them down somewhere and can't remember where!!!! That bright orange that is a Fiskars trademark color absolutely jumps right out at you from the ground or wherever you have "lost" them again! I cannot recommend Fiskars products highly enough! I have never broken a tool and they seem to sharpen up pretty easily. Now I do have some that are not quite as pretty as most of them, but those are still in great working shape, and just like ME, they look like they do because they have been around for a long, long time! Give them a try. I hope you will find you enjoy them as much as I do! Thank you!

Trim scissor shoot out!
As trim time rolled around again I figured "maybe it's the scissors that make this job miserable?" So we went ahead and got every type of trim scissors we had wanted to try. I read a review of these that really was spot on. The spring looks impressive and the quick breakdown hingepin seems like a great way to get them really clean. Well, the spring sucks, so I never needed to clean them because I didn't use them very long. Good if you lose all your other scissors. I liked the Sago Bonsai and the Corona finger micro snips or just curved pointy Fiskars knock offs and a big bag of assorted springs so you can dial them in or even just change them up throughout the day.

Very nice, good quality
Only reason I can't rate a full 5 is the bottom clip closes and locks them while you're using them. Maybe next design change, add a clip to hold the bottom clip back so they don't keep locking while in use. Otherwise, I LOVE these and the size is perfect!!

Disappointed
I get the concept of these clippers, but these just aren’t it! I purchased a pair of Chikamasa in the same style and loved them so much. So I went with the Fiskars because it was a cheaper option.. but man for the price I’d rather pay double for a higher quality. After lubing them up they began to stick after 3 snips. They are loose, and the center spring is not strong enough to spring the handles back open There’s no way of tightening the blades together. I’m pretty disappointed, I was expecting a lot more from Fiskar.

Watch your fingers the first time you hold them. Pinched.
Bought 2, one for me and one for my sister. Pinched my fingers first time I tried them. Before I could warn my sister, she did it also. However, since then, they are just fine. Perfect to cut basil leaves off and still retain the stem to grow more leaves. My husband didn't believe me when I told him they would grow more. He uses scissors and cuts at the dirt line. Have had 2 clippings so far.

Weak spring but sharp
This is a light weight cutter, however the spring is weak. It does not always open up; it gets stuck closed. Otherwise it is good for precise deheading and cutting.
