Easy to use
Fiskars is such a great product. These particular clippers are super sharp & perfect for clipping threads when sewing. No more clumsy scissors & is great for not wasting excess thread. Perfect size.

Expected better
I used to have the Chinese nippers, all metal, but lost them. This was a replacement. I’ve had this a couple of months, use it to open pouches in kitchen, I.e. sugar packages, instant coffee packages. (Nothing wet or damp). I’m disappointed that I notice rust spots. I’ve been careful to keep it clean. It is nice and sharp, however sometimes it opens up too wide, and blades overlap the wrong way.

Love these!
These snippers are great. I keep them right at the front of my sewing machine for nipping threads when finished sewing a seam, etc. The thread cutter on the side of my sewing machine requires pulling out so much more thread than is used when being able to snip the thread just a few inches from the needle/feed.

Super sharp, super good
I love these Fiskars, but they are kind of large to grab compared to some other smaller embroidery scissors. I love how sharp they are so I'm keeping them and will probably purchase them again.

Fiskars Snip
These are very sharp and fit in my palm perfectly. BUT, another person who reviewed these snips has a GREAT idea that the manufacturer should PAY ATTENTION TO: These snips need a cover for the sharp end when not in use! It's true that you can't just drop them in your craft or garden tools without paying attention - you might get stabbed in the hand if you aren't paying very close attention!

No protective cover
Was surprised these did not come with any type of cover or sheath. These are extremely sharp and it is dangerous to just have them laying around in sewing accessories. Cheaper ones out there have covers
