Easy install…Teflon tape needed

Had leaks easily fixed with Teflon tape on the flange and shower head connection point. Did not impact the water pressure! Seems high quality with actual good amounts of KDF. Noticeable less hard water build up on my shower glass and less chlorine smell.

Does what its advertised to do

For the regular consumer, this will filter only items listed on the spec sheet. it WILL NOT filter metals or bacteria or hard water, You will need a Reverse Osmosis system for that. Consult a plumber.

The best

I like my shower to beat me into submission lol Our city water is awful & a filter is a must. We have tried so many & this is the best for our situation. Filters the crud out & leaves your skin & hair clean, you know… the way you want it.

Does what I want it to do.

My goal for this device is to filter out mineral deposits that keep clogging my shower head. Only time will tell, but I think this will accomplish that task. Easy to install and it doesn't seem to affect water pressure to the shower head.

Inexpensive and Easy to Install!

Not only is this an extremely affordable water filter, but it is also superrrr easy to install. With it's easy instructions, I had the whole thing screwed onto my shower head in less than five minutes. It's perfect for apartment/dorm living! In terms of quality, I notice such a difference when I have this filter attached to my shower. Without it, my skin and hair get extremely dry from hard water. When I have the filter attached, my skin and hair is softer and visually healthier. Totally worth it if you have hard water! I'm very happy with this second-time purchase and would recommend one of these to anyone!

I purchased 2 of them, but one leaks badly.

I purchased these for both of my shower heads, but one is unusable. I do like the difference in the water quality from the functioning one though. The one that doesn't work absolutely pours water from the small gap that runs all the way around the biggest part, so that if you try to shower you are getting about half the normal water pressure.

Filter works very well; housing is horribly designed.

The filtration on this is excellent, and the first installation is easy. Beware maintenance, however. The housing has the worst possible design. The rotating date ring is a disaster; it is at the exact point where you need to get a grip on the main housing. I have purchased two of these filters, both of them became stuck after a single filter change, despite being tightened the minimum amount required to make a seal. The plastic threads on the outer housing also prevents the use of any tools for leverage for fear of destroying them. The successor product, Slim-Line 3, seems to attempt to address this by adding divots on the housing to serve as grip points. Alas, it looks like they retained the date ring. What use is a convenience indicator when it makes replacing the filter more than once impossible?

Pretty good

The first one I believe was faulty no matter how much plumbers tape I used it was still leaking. Ordered a replacement and worked the second time around. Easy install but It doesn't come with plumbers tape, overall pretty good product

Works well

Montreal water makes my hair dry and coarse. My hair has been much softer and shinier with this filter. I researched quite a bit and came down to two choices - Sprite or GE. Got this one and happy about it so far.

Good product

Very good product since I am using it my skin is much less dry. Although since it is made in plastic, do not dropped it by mistake on a hard floor with the filter in it it will brake apart then will become useless. I had to order an other one.

This thing does wonders, seriously, after a month ...

This thing does wonders , seriously ,after a month of use i noticed major changes in my skin and my hair ,they are amazingly less dry than before , before i coudnt take take a shower and not put lotion after , now i barely need it , my beard is soft now , wich my girlfriend loves it.
