Littlefoot loves these rocks
My turtle loves these, she messes with them pretty much all day. I got the large, 2 bags and they fill up the bottom of my 40 gallon tank.

The natural pebbles look good in his tank.
I have an aquatic turtle (the granchild got him when the turtle was 2" across an gifted him to me, his grandmother when he left home after marrying.) So I've got him now and have invested a good bit on the turtle. But worth it. Yurtle my turtle seems happy enough and is 8"s in length, so I guess I'm doing ok, considering Yurtle arrived here at his new home in a smallish plastic storage tub,. He seems to be a happy turtle. Be aware - turtles can be long lived. Yutle my turtle is going on 15 years old and could live to be 40 or 50 years old. He's in my will!

Great Rocks very smooth
so far only about a week has passed and I started noticing my turtle going to the bottom of the tank and just move the rocks aside and sometimes lay on them. I think he likes the rocks. the first day he did try to eat them but because of the size of the rocks he was unable too. originally I bought only 1 bag for my 40 gallon tank and well lets just say I ended up buying 3 more to fully cover the bottom of the tank. the only down side to this product is I did find maybe 2-3 somewhat sharp rocks in each bag and maybe 2 really sharp rocks that I found when cleaning them before putting them in the tank. So all in all these rocks are great! Look through the rocks to make sure there arent any possible rocks that can cause harm. on the side note I got one that is super bright orange and really stands out in the light.\ and I always see it in a new area in the tank so that how I know he likes to move the rocks around.

Exo Terra Small turtle Pebbles
Received the product. The stones are very clean with only a small amount of powder/dust in the bag. They rinsed off easily and have a polished look to them. There is a nice variation of colors to the stones. Therre are no sharp edges to them so no danger to turtle shells or hands. One bag is enough for a 10 gallon tank. I am using them in a 20 gallon long tank and held them in place with plastic food packaging that I had in my home. This allowed me to make a small ridge for the turtles to climb out of the water and keep another area of the bottom of the tank deeper for the filter to work and as a swimming area. To cover the entire bottom of a 20 gallon tank, I would advise 2-3 bags. Now, you can compare these to those available at your local landscaper/major home hardware stores. If you have an inexpensive turtle, maybe these stones are too costly, if you have a small, fragile or expensive turtle, these stones are probably a good purchase decision. My small turtles already like to try and burrow for cover into these stones, so they like them!!!

Smooth large rocks that work well for my turtle's aquarium.
These are great for a turtle aquarium. They're larger so your turtle doesn't end up eating any of them. When they first arrive they do need washed since they seem to come with a paper dust all over them. The colors of the rocks are very nice, having a natural look but still plenty of variety in the shades. I bought one bag for my 20 gallon aquarium and it works, but I'm picking up a second one since the first bag only covered a portion of the bottom of the tank. The rocks are all completely smooth too so your turtle can't injure themselves somehow on them. They work great!

They are rocks, what can I say...
I can say they are smooth and clean (very little sediment or dust in the bag). Based on the Amazon picture I was expecting grey colored pea gravel. What I received were stones all in the brown family of colors, and as others have commented the stones were much larger than expected. The turtle in the picture on the bag must be huge if the stones pictured are the same size as what I received. That said my little guy has voiced no complaints and I am sure he/she is better off with these smooth rocks than the smaller jagged sharp aquarium gravel he came home with. Fast delivery ordered on a Friday, selected Prime (2 day) delivery and received them Saturday via the USPS. In deference to public safety, I am not sure I would select "same day Amazon drone delivery" for my 10 pound bag of rocks if it were offered. I give 5 stars to the larger than expected "pebbles" but take off one star for the inaccurate picture.

Film on them pain in butt
After soaking and rinsing like instructions say they appeared clean but left a terrible film on top of water and sides of tank. Took forever to clean and In praying it doesn’t make our turtle sick.

Attractive and Cleaner Substrate than Gravel
I purchased these for the large RES I adopted recently to replace aquarium gravel, which was problematic due to the small size and so much disgusting sludge settling in the substrate. I'm still having some sludge issues, but it isn't as bad so far at least as it was with the gravel. The pebbles are very attractive and help make a more natural-looking tank environment. They also give her something to dig in and move around when she is bored without choking hazards. I have an 18x48 footprint 90 gallon tank and used about 9 bags of pebbles to fill the bottom reasonably, but the 1 bag:10 gallon ratio may be a bit on the low side since I have large rocks stacked on one side of the tank serving as her basking area and think we put some clean gravel instead of pebbles to help stabilize the big rocks.

Ok but not great.
It arrived quickly and most of the stones were smooth and a nice colour. However there were a good few broken and sharp stones that we had to remove and some very small stones that would have been a potential choking hazard for our hatchling (4 month old Turtle). Also, the most annoying part was that the stones were absolutely filthy. We had do wash them in boiling water and rinse and scrub them several times to remove the dirt. It left a horrible scum on the waters surface. We would have washed them in boiling water anyway to be sure before putting in the tank but the level of dirt was surprising and disappointing. Probably mad buying stones when we could source them ourselves but Lockdown restrictions led to my decision to buy these. Thought they would at least be relatively clean with the sharp ones removed before bagging and selling. Disappointing but the usable ones when cleaned look well in the tank

Takes alot of swilling/cleaning and may include smaller sharp pieces
I used 2 bags to line the bottom of a 2ft x 1 ft area and its about the right amount. I have 2 musk turtles and these seem fit for purpose so far. Would recommend. Cons: It took 90 minutes of constant swilling to get both bags of these pebbles clean enough to use in the tank. Seemed they were filthy but you couldn't tell from looking at them. I also found a handful of small sharp pieces in the mix during cleaning which is less than ideal so be mindful of that. Pros: Despite all the tedious prep required before use and a few stones not as stated, these are lovely pebbles overall and look good in the tank. They don't dirty the water either (unlike sand) which should help with the filtration and overall maintenance The turtles aren't happy though - they much prefer sand!

It’s a no from me!
If you want your tank permanently dirty, then use these! Everything just clings to them and I had to empty my tank more often!
