Comfy, easy to use, and good value
Four stars. After using the fuzzy strap-on (much thinner) cushions on Mom's bedside commode for several years, I opted for this, and I'm glad I did. The cushion seems to hold up well under her 150-lb weight, and fits well on the seat. The fasteners were plenty long - too long, as a matter of fact, for use on a commode seat (which is thinner than a standard toilet seat), so I cut about 1 1/2" off of each strip. I also covered this cushion with 3" wide stockinette material for added comfort (see the attached photo). Mom's delicate skin sticks to vinyl and plastic, and the "peel-off" effect is very painful for her. The stockinette slides on fairly easily, so I can change it when necessary. This operation does involve cutting slits in the stockinette material to allow for the Velcro® fasteners to be used, but it's not a big deal. Cleaning is easy - just a quick spray and wipedown with bubbly-foam bathroom cleaner does the trick. The only quibble I have is that the ends of the cushion are quite pointed, and Mom complained about some discomfort from that, but I just added another short layer of stockinette to compensate, and tucked the loose ends under the cushion to round it off. Problem solved. It's basically a small design flaw that can be corrected, thus the 4-star rating. Overall, I consider this a good value for the price paid. I'd buy it again.

Good for price, but they fall apart pretty quick.
The 1st one I got from this company was pretty decent, although the seems split after a about 2-3 mos. I ordered another one and this one was not like the 1st one, as far as quality. It's split it's seems about a month in. Idk whether to sew the 1st one back up or order another one, but the 2nd one isn't even worth mending. Sad...

I love this cushion! I have had problems with my tail bone hitting the toilet seat since I have had a huge weight loss happen and I don't have any natural padding back there. My old seat cushion actually had indents from my tail bone on it after I sat on it and I would get pain from sitting on it and dreaded having to use the toilet because of that. This cushion has totally changed all that and I can easily and comfortably sit on the toilet without getting pain from my tail bone hitting the seat. This is a godsend and it is very easy to attach to your toilet seat. The price is very worth it also and I'm glad I tried it. I had tried several other so-called "padded" seats and they weren't very padded at all and cost too much and didn't stay very padded very long. Don't hesitate to get this one if you need additional padding on your toilet seat. And I love the extra height it gives you when you sit on it! Now I can enjoy sitting on the ole porcelain throne!!!!!

Like The Idea & Mostly Comfy
Bought for My 92 yr old Mother. Used a few times. Problem seems to be small available space in center because of thickness possibly. Tho seems comfortable & does what it suppose to. My Mother used on her regular size bedside commode. She is 4ft 10 inches approx 120 lbs. Will try using again.

Commode effectively raises seat level over my original seat by 1.5"
Picture 1 the original cover remains permitting the new seat to be put in place. This form of usage effectively raises the level above the original seat that remains in place by 1.5". The purchased seat does not need to be locked in, though it could be if one chooses. I remove the seat each time for other family members. I need mine to raise my level above the water line. Picture 2 shows clearly both original seat & my temporary seat.

Seat helper
This is a help with low toilets but compresses so much that it's not what I expected. The foam filler I expected was sturdier. But, every little bit helps.

Dangerous
Trying to sit on this I almost fell down dangerous do not purchase trying to get the Velcro strips around so that you could actually sit down comfortably. As a disabled person do not purchase this item if you do do not purchase the 4 inches

Foam looses form
I had read that the foam flattens after awhile and that is absolutely true. I had hoped that it would last longer since my 96 year old mother is petite and weighs about 85 pounds. I now purchased the 4" one and hopefully it keeps its form better.

We don't use it as we have a riser but if we needed to use it the item looks comfy in person. Value for money.
