Just Not For Me
I ordered for upcoming surgery. I really like the cushion and it seems very well made. However I would not be able to attach and leave on my toilet seat because others use that bathroom. Velcro was not easy to navigate when in a hurry so it just did not work for me. If you can attach and leave it on the seat it might work great. I also found there was not much room for wiping and I’m a small person.

Helpful after knee replacement surgery
I like that it raises the height of the seat, making it easier to get up and down. Cleaning the entire toilet is a pain, though. The straps get gross and the seat must be removed to clean the bowl. I suppose that's a given, but it's not convenient. Also the straps of the seat get soiled, and they're not too easily cleaned themselves. I will toss the seat after it's easier to get up and down. Mostly just a Band-Aid post op - but it is helpful, just gets gross easily.

Mold?
I bought this due to my stomach issues prolonged sitting makes my legs go numb. I opened this before I needed to the bathroom. Big mistake. Trying to frantically open the package then fight with the Velcro! Idk how anyone elderly would be even able to open it. And there is a black mold like smear on the one edge of it. I wish I looked at it before I opened I did it early morning in the dark and now it’s not returnable

helps with SCIATICA
i had tried this before and didn't like it but was SO sore from sciatica pain, i decided to try it again but this time-i cut the velcro straps off-they're long and really don't fit the toilet seat right. at first, it seems high and pretty hard but it softens up and gets more cushy and it's easier to wash without those straps on it. for some reason, the toilet at my apt. was replaced with what i call 'the barbie doll toilet'...the seat is smaller and the toilet is higher-who invented this? i am 5'3" and never had THIS problem before on ANY toilet and i think it's what caused the sciatica in the first place..... my feet don't just touch the floor without bending in a position that make me hurt WORSE. i even put something in front on the floor that my feet can sit on comfortably and it helps. i wish someone would make an actual SEAT to replace this one instead of a cover-if they do-someone let me know-thanks

Well made, just not for me
Edit: I think I may use this as a cushion for my work from home desk when I am more recovered. Since I am so tender after the surgery, this is not a practical option for the toilet or desk chair at this time. First, I figure I should identify that the product (I got the 4-inch cushion) just didn't fit my particular needs. IMO, that does not warrant a bad review. The 4 out of 5, is because I cannot return this unused item (though I get why they may not take it back). I would strongly recommend asking questions if you are not sure. I had to have my surgery the following day and didn't have enough time to do very thorough research. (Potential) PROS: - Much more firm than expected - Gives a lot of height if you are tall without discomfort - appeared to stay in place - Durable (well-made, doesn't seem to be flimsy) Cons: - non-returnable items - opening to the toilet is too small - did not flatten enough to feel confident I would not make a mess - doesn't seem practical for post-surgical use if you need a cushion This product just didn't work for my situation. I just had surgery where I needed something soft. I took a chance based off of others' reviews saying it squished down too much. That is what I was looking for. Unfortunately, as someone else mentioned, the opening to the toilet was too small. I felt like because I was not flat enough, I was going to urinate all over the seat and potentially get some on myself. This MAY work for a male who can possibly aim more strategically while sitting, but not sure how it's might work for bowel movements without making a huge mess. I needed something post-surgical, but this was not it for me. I

Waste of Money!
We took it to a hotel we were staying in and it collapsed as soon as it was sat on. Unfortunately a waste of money and we threw it away!

Useful Cushion But Foam Will Compress Over Time
Don't be intimidated by the 4 inch height. Over time it will compress and then compress more. This is a very useful cushion and necessary. If you are debating a 2 inch over a 4 inch, choose the 4 inch as in 6 months it will behave like a brand new 2 inch one would. It's the nature of the cushion and the foam. There really is no alternative product. The brands name does not matter either. You can expect to get at least a year of usage out of the cushion before you might have to buy a new one. That being said I would recommend you choose the thicker (4 inches) over purchasing a thinner one (2 inches) as it will soon become a 2 inch. It's the nature of the beast and reason for buying is increasing comfort for as long as the product is able to deliver it.

Cushion for Toilet
Actually purchased this for the commode as my husband is finding it hard to sit on, hurts, since he is so thin. Did not work well, opening isn't as large as it should be and I chose one too thick, 4 inches is too thick, can't open the commode easily to empty. We are no longer using it, gave it a try, didn't work out. If anyone is considering this, look for one that is 2 inches perhaps.

Soft on seat
This is easy to attach with velcro straps that go around toilet seat and to remove. It is also soft to sit on but sturdy, and also easy to clean. Much perferred to the hard one's especially on sensitive skin.
