Easy to install and it works
Keeps my porch light on all night and I don't have to worry about cutting it off. What else can I say... It works.

Great product, but this one was defective.
This is the second one I purchased. The first one works great, but this one arbitrarily turns on in the middle of the day. Also - this white version has no-back light like the other models. I am replacing it with an HET01-W-STICKERED. Don't ask me what the Stickered part means.

Easy to install but somewhat tricky to program
It took a few tries to get the programming to work as I wanted. Once set, works like it should

Been working well for me.
Pretty easy to program and you have lots of settings and options. I just need it to go on and off at a particular time each day, and every once in a while I'll change the parameters based on the days getting shorter or longer. Careful closing the front door/cover, it's easy to accidentally press one of the buttons behind it (the door is pretty thin). A bit on the bulky side; installing was a bit tricky with getting everything tucked in, and my voltmeter came in handy. Changing time on it twice a year for daylight savings isn't very complicated and if you make a mistake just wait, it'll reset; no reason to press a button multiple times to get back to the very beginning. I'm pretty happy with it.

Remember To Program The Days For The "OFF" Command Same As The "ON" Command
Needed this to replace a switch that controls outlets that feed the Christmas lights along the eaves. The timer fits in the same space as a Decora switch. It's white where my house switch color is light almond, but the switch is in the garage and not noticed, so no problem. There are four wires on the switch: black (power), white (neutral) green (ground) and red (the load/lights). I determined the hot side of the switch with a voltage sensor before throwing the breaker. That hot wire goes to the black wire on the timer. The other wire in the original switch is the load and goes to the timer's red wire. Ground goes to the ground. The white wire has to be connected to a neutral white wire. With houses wired using Romex, there are usually a bundle of white wires in the junction box. I undid the wirenut and added the timer's white wire, then replaced the wirenut. Programming the timer is slightly tricky. First thing is to set the internal clock and tell the timer what day it is. There is an internal battery backup so it retains time, day and program should there be a power failure. There's also a Reset button if you want to clear it out and start over. Now that time of day and day of week are set, you can program separate on and off times for up to 18 events. You can program for single days of the week or just Monday through Friday or just the weekends. All I wanted was one event: turn on at 5 PM and off at 11 PM every day. I read the directions carefully and for Event 1, set it for on at 5 PM. You then have to set which days it will happen. You press "PROG" over and over until you cycle through all the days of the week, then M-F, then Sa-Su, then, finally, all the days are displayed. Next I set the "Off" time for 11 PM. Great. Finished. I set the "Mode" to Auto and closed the little door. Right on time, the lights turn on at 5 PM. Success! Except in the morning, the lights are still on. Turns out you have to set the days of the week the "OFF" command will happen, just like you have to set the timer for the days it will turn "ON." Sneaky. Re-read the instructions and went back into Program until the OFF time of 11 PM was displayed. I punched the PROG button until all the days of the weeks were displayed. NOW it works. Turns on at 5, off at 11, every day. With programming flexibility comes many options and many ways to foul up. But it works fine now. Excellent price. There's also a master ON/OFF slider switch under the door so when it's not Christmas season and there's no need to energize the outlets, they will remain off. You can manually turn the lights on or off by simply pressing on the little door. It's designed to punch the "MAN" buttons beneath the door so you don't have to open the little door to turn the lights on or off manually.

Works fine but instructions need more clarity
Fairly easy to install if you know what you’re doing. This was for a two switches controlling the lights. LCD could be brighter. Programming it was hit or miss. Instructions could be clearer. 18 programs, each with 7 days. In each program you set the on/off times for 0 to all 7 days. EVERY program is run each day which was unexpected. I thought you could select which program to run but to turn lights on/off multiple times per day (like morning and night) you need to run every program every day. Once I got that everything worked fine. This also allows varying on/off times each day to make it look like a human was turning lights on and off, not a timer. Lights have been coming on/off as set. I especially like the battery backup so you don’t lose the programming. There is a reset button also that makes clearing all programs easy too. So far I am very satisfied.

Nice instructions
Some of these work but have too many steps to operate or make changes easy. This one has easily numbered instructions to get you going and helps with changes pretty easily.

Highly recommend.
Great switch and very easy to install. No need to run a separate wire just need to know how to connect everything properly in the switch box! I used this on my DIY grow light since most timers don't fully shut off the LED and they stay dim when suppose to be off (both mechanical and digital type). This switch works perfectly thanks to the neutral line connection and was easy to use and program as long as you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! Highly recommend for led bulbs. Also has internal battery backup so your timer settings stay during a power outage.

Great addition to the house
Super convenient for things like exterior lights. Easy to program and looks high end. Nice to have the lights on for me when I come home from work.

Accurate and works well
I installed this to turn our outside lights on and off during our absence and it has operated flawlessly. Very easy to program compared to Leviton or others.

Easy to wire and setup
Easy to wire and setup. Only used instructions to confirm proper wiring but programing the switch was straight forward. No more coming home to a dark house.

Did no work....
Product was hard to program. Once program it would work to turn the light on but did not shut it off. So i return it. Still no confirmation of return. 12 days after sending it BACK.
