Timer is Funky
It was easy to install and the instructions on how to operate it are easy to understand, but the timer stops at 8AM and I have to manually turn it to get it to work. So it doesn't quite work like it's supposed to.

I thought Woods was a trusted brand
As soon as I saw the box, I knew this thing was not factory new. Took it out of the box and had to straighten a bent latch to open it up. Once opened, there were screws missing that hold the mechanism in place but enough there to keep it from falling out and, a welded bracket on the inside was broken off. I needed the project completed that day so I wired it up with my fingers crossed. This thing was wired to turn off a simple porch light on/off once a day but failed to do anything but keep good time. I've had some experience with Woods products in the past, with never an issue, so I picked this timer... Thanks Amazon *UPDATE* After installing the timer and noting that it would not automatically flip the switch, on or off, I just put the switch to on, manually. In the morning, the light was out; it turned off automatically at the time I had preset the day before. All the next day, I had it programmed to turn on & off every 30 minutes and it did not fail once, Here's the thing that is not in the manual: with my timer, you can turn it off & on manually but if you switch it to off, it's off for good. There seems to be an unmarked "neutral" area between the ON & OFF position on the manual switch. When running automatically and it switches to off, the mechanism pushes this manual switch from ON to this "neutral" area, NOT TO OFF. At least on my timer, OFF means the timer mechanism is off, not just the lights. I added a couple of stars because it is working as designed but that's it; the bad condition it arrived in and the incomplete instructions prevents more stars.

Update
I have had it hooked ???? to a pool pump for about a month now and love it Couldn’t be any simpler, Well Went outside today and my pump was off and the timer no longer turns on or off with the timer. Only lasted 2months. I guess it is back to the old drawing board.

Easy to set lighting timer.
I used it indoors (basement) for some outdoor lighting. It does exactly what it is designed to do. Only negative is, that there is a faint noise from the timer motor that is sometime audible near it.

As good as it gets
There is one major problem with this device: When installing it in an existing box the box cover presses on the dial and it's stop working. Did not want the remove the old box from the exterior wall. so I had to close the door cover only partially to work. In addition the glued in support of the box broke so I had to use the old box because rhe pool was gettin green for lack of pump not working.!!

Christmas gift to myself.
Bought this timer for my christmas lights and decorations. It should work just fine this December.

Does the job
Works well, in use about one month, it is a little difficult to tell which trippers are up and which are down when looking straight down on the dial. Used to turn an air pump on and off several times a day.

Not worth the money
I bought this timer & unfortunately didn’t install immediately, so when I did get it installed it will turn off but not back on. I sent a message to the supplier & they have not offered so much as a response. NOT HAPPY AT ALL & will never order from this supplier again
