Like other bar tapes with a mesh like imprint of rubber for improved grip.

This is basically regular black dense foam rubber bar tape with a hexagonal mesh or net pattern of grippy rubber imprinted on the surface for improved grip. It has the same central strip of adhesive on the back (about 5-6mm wide) covered by the usual long paper strip you need to remove to expose it before/while you are installing it. Normal length of tape but to my hand feels slightly thicker than most. Comes with silver bar end plugs and two 5-6" long pieces of black tape to cover the inner end of the tape on the top bar, if you need it (some of us use a wrapping technique which does not need this tape at either end). Wife likes it, says that it is more grippy than regular foam bar tape so that her gloved hand does not slide off as much with bumps and such. Also provides good padding all along the wrapped parts of the bars. Now we see how long it lasts, and how long my wife's love affair with it continues.

Decent grip tape for the price - not very long.

This grip tape is sticky and has held up so far through about 400 miles of riding. My only real complaint is that each "roll" was a little too short for my 42cm width, 25.4mm diameter (at stem) drop handlebars. I had to use quite a bit of electrical tape to hold the brake cables in closer to the stem. A little extra length would've given me some room for error and allowed me to apply the tape "thicker" for a bit more riding comfort.

Good stuff!!

Got this at a great price so decided to give it a try. The tape is mainly fabrics and the diamond design is a tacky rubber material. It appears to be durable and will last a long time. However, the bar tape is thin. I normally double wrap my bar for extra cushion so I usually get two thin tapes so this tape is perfect for my purposes. I’d buy this stuff again.

Not sticky, too short

The adhesive came off of this tape like nobody's business. It is literally just a strip of foam. Still great though with electrical tape and tension! My ungloved hands were only slightly irritated riding with these grips. I have fiberglass in my thumb but I'm not sure if that was due to the grips or due to carrying my bike up 5 flights of stairs.

Good tape, but slipperly when fingers are sweaty

This grip tape is on par with previous grip tapes I have purchased in terms of ease of wrapping the handlebars and the tape staying in place. The main problem with this tape is the grip texture that is added. While it provides additional grip when using gloves, the additional texture makes the grip tape quite slippery to sweaty fingers. I would not use this grip tape without bicycle gloves.

Nice grip tape can be used for variety of things I used it at work for a cart we push to save hands from bare metal all day

Easy to install. Feels good. Yet to ride with it, but I can’t see why it won’t hold up.

Slippery

The white checks are larger in real life than in pictures on Amazon. The surface gets slippery when wet from sweat. Will not buy again. Cheap so you get what you pay for.
