Did the job at a great price

Exactly what I needed for a great price. I have already installed them and they worked really well for my stone front exterior wall. So far so good. I'll update the review at a later date if any of them fail.

Plastic shutter bolts

Thankyou for selling. Bought the window panel few years ago. Asked for more to buy, but no response. They pull away from wall with wind. So needed to replace.

Perfect

I was concerned a little that they would be a perfect match for my 7 year old shutters, but they were. Easy to install, sturdy…they were exactly what we needed.

Cheap...but no alternative

These will bend over and break if you;re too rough pushing them through. I found I needed to drill the concrete holes a little larger and they went in better. Used a wooden mallet to tap them home. You could squirt some caulk into the hole beforehand and they;d hold better especially if wind is an issue. These all come from the same overseas factory I'd imagine, so trying to find better quality is likely useless.

QTY correct-good job supply chain

Needed 16, had to buy 18 but it all worked out. Supply chain got it right. 1. Broke one, had a spare. Yay! 2. Hit a dead end in 1 place so that the head didn’t seat flush. Had a spare (double yay!!) to remove and replace. • Lesson: trim 3 ribs from the pointed end. Too long in 3 other places; trimmed to fit. Notes: I located the shutter and dressed the shutter along the windows edge. I match drilled the hole in the shutter into the siding at the lower outside corner, and set the first shutter-lok in place. This served to hold the shutter in place while adding the remaining 3 shutter-loks.

Easy install, but order some extra

These provide an easy way to secure shutters and they look great! I bought these to replace a similar product when I painted my vinyl shutters. The colour was a great match for the shutters. I used a light mallet to hammer them into the existing 1/4” holes in my brick. I followed the advice of another review and purchased an extra couple of packages. As noted, if they aren’t lined up to the hole, they will bend and break. I broke 3 of them during install so I was glad I bought extra.

Worked well - just like the original fasteners.

Used them on our trailer shutters that I removed for painting. Went back on the original siding holes. J
