The reason is: they literally go with everything! Now, that being said, this might not be your style. It's not for everyone. But if you're going for something a little eye catching, a little nostalgic, with the versatility of a white tennis shoe and the class of a leather oxford, then get yourself a pair of these. I'm wearing with everything from jeans to chinos to skirts and loving them. I ordered a size 7. I'm sometimes between a 6.5 and a 7, and there is information out there that with Eastland in the black and white you need to go up a full size. I'm glad I didn't go for the 7.5. The 7s fit perfectly, not too loose, not too tight, and I have walked quite a bit in them and had zero problems. I have had these in my cart on Amazon for YEARS and finally pulled the trigger when they ran a special on them so I got them at a great price. So happy with these shoes!

A great shoe

Eastland has always been a good brand, and this shoe tells me they haven’t changed. I put the pair on - without socks even - and wore them right out the door to go grocery shopping. I have all kinds of foot issues from poorly reset broken toes to bunions, but these shoes are very comfortable. I did order a half size up, and medium width gives plenty of toe box room. They looked narrow coming out of the box, but they did not fit narrowly at all.

Authentic saddle but runs VERY small

I ordered this shoe in the navy and white. My "true" size is a 9 - if the toe box is on wide side. I started out with a size 9.5 which typically works (I consistently wear 9.5 in Nike for example) since other reviews said they run small. No go, so I went to the 10. Still tight and barely long enough. Only the black and white were available in wide so I tried an 11. I have never purchased an 11 before but in this shoe it provides the needed width and they are only slightly longer than I would like. It was a project but they are exactly what I'm looking for and now that I have a workable size it seems that they will be comfortable.

Adorable but smaller sizing

I love the quality of these shoes and the feel but the sizing is a smidge off. I bought my usual size and they were very snug. Definitely going to have to size up. They also seem a bit more narrow than other shoes. Super cute though and very durable!

Good value for cost

These saddle oxfords were cute (if anything in size 10 can be cute) and a fair quality for cost. I got them to wear at a sock hop and they did feel tight as the night went by. But I am 63 and my feet swell.

Super cute and comfy

The shoes came in a nice package and they run very well, I ordered 1/2 size from my size and fit nicely but if I buy another pair surely I'm ordering my real size.... definitely worth the money!

Adorable, high quality shoes at a good price

I am really impressed by the quality of these shoes, down to having inserts with arch support. I wore these to work the day after I bought them and got so many compliments! These are comfortable and feel durable, the kind of shoes you can wear everyday for years.
