Cute, heavy, slightly small

I bought black in size 8, but am exchanging for 8.5. I have a high instep and wide forefoot, and the 8s were just a little too tight in the front. The metal detail dug in a bit on the vamp due to my higher than average instep, and the width was just a bit narrow in the front - if it were one or the other i think they would have been fine, but with both issues my normal size was just a bit too small (wide widths are not suitable for me, my heel slips out). Quality: They are heavier than most of my boots, but with the chonky sole i expected that; i can still walk and maneuver comfortably. The soles don't mark up the linoleum floors at the office. The pleather is OK enough (i'm kind of a shoe snob and typically buy leather), and the stitching is strong and even. The insole is nice, softer than i'm used to.

My only complaint is the heal slips off my heal. I could not go down a size.

Opened box and noticed padding was not glued down in one shoe. Padding seems comfortable. No arch support, so I stuck in my add in inserts. Biggest problem I have is the left heel is much wider than the right, so my heels slip out. Fixed with some mole skin and heel buffeter. Will wear them today and see how they feel. I wear an 8 to 8.5, got 8.5 and length wise they fit as expected, just the heels are very loose

Size 8 is more like a 9. I'm not sure these are actually Eastlands

Comfortable!! My size was a little big for me.

These shoes are very comfortable! I wore them for 10 hours standing several of those hours and my feet felt great. This pair runs a little big on me but I just wore thicker socks. Would purchase again.
