Stays put!

This works really well. Easy to install and stays put front and back...although I did have to remove the original toilet seat and lid. Would of given 5stars but the opening in the seat is small so fluids are always coming in contact with the inside front wall and can collect between the seat and toilet. Thus it has to be removed every couple days to be cleaned to avoid odors. Quick tip, when cleaning avoid the hand held shower. I thought it would make easy work of it but water seeps inside the gaskets of the screw mechanism and you don't want that. I use a spray bottle of Lysol with bleach and wipes right off. When it comes to toilet helpers it's unavoidable where urine is concerned.

HELPER TOILET SEAT... 2 ways of installing

The "helper" toilet seat did finally work but we had to use some imagination as the toilet seat did not sit easy, it was uncomfortable. We ended up with the helper seat 180° out. In other words, it was installed backward and worked out much better. I know it does sound kind of wierd, but its true!

Served the purpose.

Recently had hip surgery needed a riser for a couple of weeks. My toilet is elongated worked perfect. I am 5’1” , feet barely touched floor. If you are shorter you should look for one with less height.

THE OPEING IN SEAT IS TINY

The seat does not secure, it swivels side to side. Definitely bad for anyone with balance issues. The opening in seat forced me to sit with my rectum opening on back of seat to get front into opening. Drive normally has good equipment, but not with toilet seats this was made for like a 16 year old weighing no more than 1 10 LBS with a temporary injury and good balance. This is worst and most dangerous seat I have ever used. Now buying seat from someone else.

Sturdy seat, good quality product.

Very sturdy. Fits toilet bowl well (don't forget to order elongated is that is the type of bowl you have). Very pleased with product. I am disabled and needed a raised seat and this works fine for me!

Unsafe

This product is not returnable. The auger shaft which allows the booster to be attached to the toilet is plastic, and in the case of the one I purchased the threads were stripped so that the seat could not be secured, and was dangerously unstable for a disabled person. It seemed like a good solution to a temporary disability, but I wasted my $38. It went to the landfill.

Probably would work well for a child

I have a few of this companies products and have rated them well. I can only give this product a one star as the bowl opening does not have enough room for an average sized man to urinate comfortably and I don't think a bowel movement would be very tidy. Having just had hip replacement I don't have the ability shift my hips on the seat to accommodate either function. Very disappointed with The Drive Medical Premium Plastic Raised Toilet Seat with Lock, Elongated I would not recommend this product
