Perfect for handicap/aging adults
Thanks to all who wrote reviews which provided us the info we needed to make our selection. The raised seat is perfect for our needs, speedy delivery, easy install, perfect fit for a high, elongated one piece toilet. Shoppers beware: there is a seat for a round toilet and one for the elongated toilet. Read the description so you order the correct one for your needs. I am 5'4" and my feet are just a bit off the floor when sitting on the toilet. Great product.

This one is seemingly the proper riser for me.
After trying some other alternatives, this one has turned out so far to be best for me, only having a couple of weeks. I installed myself, which was not too difficult, as I am getting an education with. ☺️ It being one piece, then threading long bolts thru whichever toilet seat chosen and tightening the wing nuts below. I like that this riser is high enough with the arms a bit lower than others having arms facing straight up. With those, I had to place my arms up higher to hoist myself up from sitting, not being easy. I am 5’ 3” with some weight, but not so big on the bottom, so I think this riser may be better for one my size. (I am only not loving the toilet seat chosen to go with, being a bit uncomfortable. It’s difficult to know before trying something, thinking that regular toilet seats would be pretty much the same). I would also like to put a cloth cover on the lid, which will not fit this one. * I have thought it would be nice if those needing a solution such as this could be able to try out some models set up somewhere first, as I ended up having a “self-proposed market-research study” to determine what was most appropriate for me. I had REALLY liked my initial riser with seat bought a while ago and kept, but when I began needing something to help stand, tried the free-standing support arms that did not work well for me. Then, tried other risers with arms attached, as said. They ALL have had their fine points, which I will otherwise share, just not being the right seat / arm height ratio. * Another thing is, I am now able to keep my original toilet paper storage container to one side as it once was, by removing one drawer, after not finding another to replace it with, while trying risers. Having a small space with toilet and tub separate from the vanity, besides a cat litter box, it can be tricky. Anyway, just to share.

Works Well, Esp. if You're a Little Larger
We needed to get raised seats for my MIL, who is very tiny. One of the toilets, though, is one we all need to use, and I'm nowhere near as tiny as my MIL. The seats with higher handles are far too restrictive if you're over about 110 pounds. Because the handles on this seat are lower, larger folks can fit as well. My husband had to buy a new toilet seat because our old one didn't fit the seat well, but other than that, installation was pretty simple. This is definitely the best choice if someone "fluffy" needs to use a raised seat. Sturdy and does not slip around.

Get to use existing toilet seat
The best thing about this is the fact that your existing toilet seat installs right on top. I am a stickler about closing the lid when flushing and most of the other models are open. Definitely unsanitary. It installed easily and fits securely. Good product.

Great Product
This is a great elevated toilet seat. I had a hip replacement and this elevated toilet seat is great. It was easy to put on, the screws were long enough, we can attach our original seat and lid over it. The handles are sturdy, it's all white so it looks good with the original toilet seat. All in all, I am very happy with this item. I do recommend it.

Bumpy Installation for me, final result so far so good.
Installation required 4 Home Depot trips and this is finally successfully installed. I didn't want the industrial looking riser with metal arms that takes up floor space so I opted for this model. The new "easy clean" seats didn't work because they can slide from side to side. I finally found a Bemis toilet seat that worked (see photo) and bought 6" screws that would fit the toilet seat hardware. The screws that come with this riser were too big to match the hardware on the existing toilet seat. End result is very good. It's slightly off center but that's probably my fault - I could adjust but it's on and secure now. Physical Therapist approved for post-hip replacement use on a "comfort toilet" so all set! Manufacturer might consider sending two sets of screws including on that's smaller to work with most toilet seats? I believe I wound up with 5/16".

A Worthwhile Purchase!
Finally! No more dangling legs for us shorter folk whilst sitting on a "regular" seat that can be lifted with a lid that can be lowered, all attached in an attractive, thoughtfully and tastefully designed unit! Very yes!

Easily installed great fit.
I like that it was all one piece and made of plastic. I also liked that it fit on my toilet and I could still use my own toilet seat on top of it. Perfectly fit in my smaller bathroom and was not too high. Have recommended it to my friends.
