Perfect for Small Adults and Lightweight Children
This commode was easy for me to assemble. No screws were required. Everything snapped together in about 15 minutes. The commode seems sturdy and stable to me. I am a small-boned female and I weigh 120 pounds and am 5'3" tall. While the frame itself seems quite sturdy and stable, the seat is thin, flimsy, and flexible. I suspect that if someone weighing more than I do will find that this seat will break after a few uses. I think there is no way this seat is going to work for someone weighing 300 pounds. Also the seat is small. The width of the commode is 19 inches, but the website picture shows the width being 23 inches, which means someone with wide hips may not be able to fit on the commode. The commode was set on the shortest height when it arrived, which would likely work well for a child or small adult who is 4 feet or less tall. I adjusted the height about 3 inches up. The height can be adjusted much higher than what I need, so the commode would likely work for a person considerably taller than I am. This commode is exactly what I wanted. However, I am hoping that the flimsy seat does not bend and perhaps break from my 120 pounds after I sit on it for a few weeks or months. If you are a small adult or a lightweight child, this commode will likely work perfectly for you, as it works for me. I'm glad I purchased it and would purchase it again.

the accommodating comode
This portable comode has been a purchase well made. After knee surgery and while recovering, this apparatus was the ideal nighttime friend placed near to my bed-when getting to the bathroom was difficult due to the pain in walking. Comfortable, height adjustable, and easily assembled, it has been an excellent convenience.

Sturdy, portable commode.
Unaware of the fact that we could get a portable commode provided for free by the VA, we ordered this for our handicapped father to use. Unfortunately, even though this was never actually used (because we received the VA one), it's a non-returnable item. So while this goes unused in our house, I can say that it was relatively easy to assemble, and it's pretty sturdy to sit on.

Easy to use and helps keep things clean.
Our 30 year old daughter ws misdiagnosed and has developed stage 4 Breast Cancer. Due to this she had to move in back home with us. During her treatments and in the course of her disease, at times she has become very weak and unable to make it to the restroom. Having this next to her bed has made things much easier for her (and us), and much easier to keep things clean in her environment.

good product for price
It arrived the day after I ordered it. Easy to assemble. I got this for my sister, she weighs less than 120, so it's plenty sturdy for her. I think it would be sturdy enough for someone bigger.

great for post surgery
Our friend that lives with us had a hip replacement recently and the VA sent him a crappy seat that even the physical therapist said was crap. We bought this one for him and it is working fantastically! I highly recommend it for older people and post-surgeries!

Good thrown
Good chair to catch up on your magazine reading. Seriously this does the job. Due to covid we were allowed to go to the trailer but all public washrooms would be closed. Not wanting to use the trailer washroom for #2 because of the cleaning afterwards, invested in this guy and a change tent. Works better then what we used in the military

Great Chair
This chair is a godsend.... as a senior, who sometimes can't quite make it to the ladies room, having it beside the bed has been wonderful...... the chair is solid, easy to assemble, easy to clean and I would HIGHLY recommend it. My anxiety level has dropped to practically zero knowing I have the comfort of this chair close by.........

Easy to assemble, adjustable, not sure about the weight rating
Got this for a temporariy weakened relative. For their purposes, this is a great commode (we just parked it over the toilet as an alternative to a raised seat). One caveat: It's rated up to 350lbs. I weigh a little over 1/2 of that and when I sat down to test it for safety, there was some significant flex. Fortunately, the user is closer to 1/3 of the rated weight. I'd personally be concerned if the user topped 200lbs.

Home medical helping hand
Really helped my dad after surgery when he was unable to navigate the large staircase to the bathroom. Now, my mom sometimes uses it in emergencies when she can't get upstairs in time. Discreetly folds to fit in a closet when not in use. Great value!
