Tacky

I used these to fasten carpet treads to the basement steps. I prefer these to double-sided carpet tape because tape would pull-up the freshly painted wooden steps. I’m not worried about nail holes, because they’re basement steps. No local home improvement stores had these, glad I found them on Amazon.

They do the job well

These tacks are multipurpose but 1/2" means hammering fingers as well. Exercise caution on that note or maybe a larger size will work on projects, while saving fingers.

Used these. Worked great!

I had to use two packages of these tacks to fix the webbing on my ‘bunny loved’ couch. I used nearly both packages to fix 1/4 of my couch. Glad that’s all that needed fixing.

We have some beautiful Palacek chairs and ottoman that needed new webbing. These tacks were perfect for the job, and the company was courteous, timely, and professional.

These match my vintage tacks, perfect.

When restoring an antique you want to save as much of the original parts as possible. Tacks can be a problem here, on the coast of SC as the metal will rust and break down from the humidity and moisture some of the older pieces have been exposed to in poor storage conditions. I ordered these tacks as the picture seemed to show a nearly handmade, not production line look. I am happy to tell you these look exactly like the original tacks used over 100 years ago. Worth every penny when you want your piece to look restored, not refinished and "new". Really pleased with these. tacks.

The tacks were sharp as one would expect. They arrived on time and were the size and length expected. It would have been nice to know how many tacks come in a package.(There were fewer tacks than I anticipated).
