NO BACK PIECE!!

They work, but there’s literally no back piece for these, so most of the ones that I used I had to follow through with some stitching to secure them to the shirt I was putting them on because the fabric pulled away and created an additional hole that wasn’t intended. Overall there were some that came out great but most didn’t, keep that in mind when deciding to purchase these! I only got them from Amazon because my local craft stores were sold out of this size..

Durability Could Be Better

I used these for an office project, just attaching them to laminated paper. Many of them split, and although they held, it didn't look very nice upon closer inspection. I can only imagine if I was trying to actually attach these to something thicker, like cardstock or fabric; I don't think they'd really even be usable. They worked okay for what I needed, but for the price I think the quality/strength/thickness of the metal should be a lot better. I'm not a fake profile, nor have I been compensated for any reviews...in fact, the reason I take the time to review purchases when I can is due to the fact that I find other honest reviews helpful and am tired of all the fake reviews that have polluted this site. Don't grip the fabric very well

I am rather disappointed in these eyelets as have had approx. 4 out of 10 fall out. I have the pliers for these (Dritz 574) thinking they would do a better job than hammering. It's like the inner ring part that is supposed to grip doesn't bend over enough and I do press the pliers together as tight as I can. Have now got 2 part eyelets with washers but I don't think they are going to work in the pliers I have. Very difficult trying to find the correct ones!!

Product did not match photo!

I gave them only 3 stars for shipping speed and because eyelets are what I ordered but what was advertised in their photo is not what I received. I ordered brand new shiny brass eyelets and what I received were what appeared to be an old box of tarnished eyelets. Packaging looks old and not what was pictured in the photo at all but they worked in the end.

Dritz is a sure thing

I'm making costumes for the Ren Fair and the girls have to have their underbusts with the lacings in front, or back, etc. These work great. My first order I ordered the 1/4" eyelet. while they work, they just look too big. These are just right. This package doesn't come with the tools for inserting....I've already got that. But you need it in order to set them properly. so make sure you order that or have one on hand.

Seem to work pretty good. Some issues with popping out, in fabric, but this may be a function of thickness, type of material, &/or operator 'head space'. I am still experimenting with these, bit am thinking the larger ones w/ separate lock ring may resolve said issue<<=see...
