I. LOVE!!! This thing!!!
My water heater is on the opposite end of the condo from my kitchen, I waste more water than I use trying to get hot water to my kitchen sink from the traditional faucet. Not anymore! 90% of the time, I just need a few cups of water to wash/rinse a dish or make a cup of tea. This thing holds more than enough for that and it heats back up almost instantly, nice for something that runs easily from a standard wall outlet. Hooking up the water lines is a little tricky and doesn't make sense at first, until I realized that the way the lines run, the tank itself isn't under pressure, which makes it much safer and less likely to leak (although I'm having trouble keeping one of the connections tight and it's dripping a little). The faucet itself is very stylist and GREAT quality as well. I definitely recommend this, especially for larger houses or remote locations, like having a second traditional water heater for a fraction of the cost.

Worth the steep price
An under cabinet hot water dispenser is such a timesaver. I love mine.

Instant Hot water
I love having this product, I can make tea with push of button. Installation was simple except that Plummer had to drill hole in the quart counter, but they got it done quickly. It's one of those little luxuries that makes life more easy.

Nice compact unit.
Very easy to install for an experienced DIY. You may need to pickup an adapter to split your cold water supply line shut off valve. Also one thing that I overlooked was the electrical receptacle under the sink , the one that the garbage disposal is plugged into is switched. The hot water dispenser requires constant power to work. I had to run another 15 amp circuit to the dispenser. If you’re not comfortable with electrical wiring I strongly suggest that you hire an electrician.

Hot water outlet fitting on tank does not fit silicone hose provided
The blue tube on top of the tank hot water outlet fitting is the same diameter as the silicone hose provided. Even if the silicone hose was wider, I don't see how the fitting connect to the hose. I called customer service and got a prompt return call and was Emailed diagrams that pertain to the faucet connections, not the tank connection.

so easy to install...
this product , this hotwater dispensor is just what the doctor ordered. Very easy to install...and works great. Faucet is smooth and recovery time is amazin. I highly recommend this one. More reasonable in price than most others.

Good value
Seemed like a good value compared to others, and needed a hot faucet that could also deliver cold water from osmosis filter. Satin stainless faucet seems to be of very high quality. Directions could have been clearer, but could figure it out on my own.. Needed to buy adapter to connect 3/8 inch supply line from osmosis filter to 1/4 inch faucet inlet...SharkBite from Lowes. Did not have a problem mounting faucet even though hole was smaller than 1 3/8 in diam, but did need to remove and feed the faucet lines with the connected plastic lines from the top.....make under sink connections far easier. Also, I did need to install power outlet under the sink. Also, you need to fill the tank with water before turning on power....need to turn on hot water handle and let the tank fill......then turn on power. Both water heater and faucet are working well....very satisfied so far!

Some Key things to know about this unit (and the 1 3/8” hole)
What isn’t obvious with the Westinghouse unit vs. similar looking other brands is this unit comes with a clip to hang up the tank. This is much better than the brands where the tank sits on the floor of the cabinet. I have sliding drawers and was prepared to make a shelf, but was thrilled it is designed to use a hanging clip (included). The hole for the counter, (contrary to one review) can be 1 3/8”. It can likely be even smaller. I’m guessing the reviewer that mentioned this was trying to install the faucet base upside-down by inserting the base that is supposed to stick up into the countertop hole (which is incorrect). In reality, the only part of the product that goes into the hole are the plumbing lines and the screws to clamp the faucet base to the counter, which is why I say the hole could possibly be even smaller than 1 3/8”. As far as noise; I have had it operating half a day now and haven’t noticed any noises from the unit. The most difficult part of the installation is figuring out how you want to adapt your supply line down to the 1/4 hose. I looked at a few options and settled on the simplest for me, which was a screw-in “John Guest” 3/8 comp to 1/4 adapter with a shut-off valve (a small piece of it shows as the blue handle to the right of the drain tube). Well, drilling the hole in the counter was the most difficult part, because of the emotional “what I’m about to do is permanent” standpoint. The final installation looks great.

The spout is perfect
I replaced the incinerator unit I had with this, and I love it. The incinerator had this little chrome button that you had to push until your thumb turned purple! This one has a lever and also matches our tap!

Sharp looking tap
We had insinkerator (sp?) brand for many years but they had gotten so expensive that we thought we would give this a try. It was a lot less money for the tank and tap than a replacement tap for the other system. We like it much better:1. we prefer the style 2. no dripping after hot tap turned off 3. quiet operation, no gurgling and spitting 4. we like the ability to have the hot water run without the having to hold the tap on. The only thing is that it is a little twisty but that could be our home installation!

Need a plug under the sink
Had a contractor friend install this. He also was able to install a new outlet for me. He's planning on buying this now. He was super impressed that as soon as it was installed he turned it on to steamy water immediately.
