I'm loving it.

Sturdy, well made. Good value. It's a win. I will be buying more. Had to wait a few weeks they where back ordered but worth it. I move every 3 years and packing up small parts , screws and stuff in garage is a pain.

NOT a true dewalt box

this box is basically a Stanley box and so is not compatible with the T stax system from dewalt. the same stanley box can be purchased for half the price. it is well made but over priced.

Same as the Stanley Fatmax version but cheaper!

The Dewalt organizer I just got is EXACTLY the same as the Stanley Fatmax version. I know because I have the 2 side. They are both made in Israel, and are designed exactly the same and stack on top of each other. Mine came with a water seal and IP53 rating, unlike some of the other reviews have stated. I use my to store sleeved Magic cards but I have to use the bins from a different Stanley organizer since they don't fit with the rounded corners. Literally no reason to get the Stanley Fatmax version over this one unless you like the colour or name and don't want to save $13!

Really nice quality deep organizer

Picked this up on sale via amazon warehouse deals. A few cosmetic scratches but otherwise perfect :) I have a couple of these organizers now, and they're great - good, heavy duty quality as you'd expect from Dewalt. This one has metal latches which feel secure and like they'll last. The 10 organizer cups inside the case are all removable, so you could take a few out and fit in say, a bunch of screws in cups and then put your impact driver or drill in the space - the lid has stopper pieces moulded into the inside face of it to hold the remaining cups in place when you close it as well. Nice to have the option. The cups are nice and deep, there's plenty of space. Overall I'm really pleased with this case and I'd certainly recommend it. Good that they're stackable as well, I'll add maybe a couple more in future as I need them. IMPORTANT update/note: this is NOT a Tstak organizer so will not snap onto the tstak range of drawers etc - these snap together themselves, but won't attach to the tstak stuff. If you want an organizer that will snap onto other tstak units, then you want this one: DEWALT DWST17805 Tstak Expansion Organizer -DEWALT DWST17805 Tstak Expansion Organizer Hope that helps :)

Regarding the Storage Compartments: 1. The boxes themselves aren't rectangles. They're like a piece of paper that have had their corner edges cut off. 2. They have a step in from the top. 3. The sides slant in towards the bottom. All this can be seen from the product pictures. What this means is there may be certain items that fit in the top but don't slide in properly or at all. 4. Some of the boxes aren't perfectly sized. Compartments even within the same set can be misaligned either in the form of the lip of one box overlapping another. This is a minor inconvenience, you simply need to jiggle the box or in some situations push the boxes around. They're plastic so they bent easily no problems there , just something to note. 5. The boxes due to their shape don't fit MTG cards without the risk of damaging them. However, results may differ should one take the box out and put the cards in where the box would be. 6. Taking out a number of the boxes allows enough space to carry books. You will want to add closed cell foam in between the gaps to make sure they don't rattle but it is an option. Regarding the Clear Plastic Front 1. I have noticed some scratches after some use. They're barely visible and I only noticed them when they caught the light. I can't feel them but they can't be rubbed away. Just something to note, clear plastic scratches. 2. The front comes with 2 stickers applied to it. 2.a. One big on spanning the length of the box which can be easily peeled of given you take your time and another, the DeWalt sticker that covers one of the boxes. 2.b. The DeWalt sticker tends to block the view of the compartment underneath so if you want to remove you will need to use Goo Gone because of the glue that they use. Goo Gone is oily so you will need to wipe it down with soap or some general cleaner afterwards so the case isn't all oily and stuff. Construction, Handles and Others 1. The handle is very solid. I've it up with a bunch of books and it handles the weight well. Doesn't creak or anything. 2. The mental latches are solid. I suspect if there's something trying to break out of the box the plastic would break first before the latches come undone. 3. There are 2 side plastic latches on that are used to connect the organizer to another one. They also function nicely to secure the sides of the organizer. 3.a. The connective strength of these latches are good. connecting 2 full organizers together and only carrying them by the handle of one they hold up and don't snap. However, I don't recommend it at all. Although it didn't break, I suspect they eventually will due to the strain. Light loads may be ok but for me they allow for neat stacking and "holding together" transportation. 4. The color scheme, the bright color of the boxes is extremely useful especially in low light conditions to help you see what's in them. Overall I'd give this a 4.5/5 if I could so due to Amazon's system I'm rounding down and giving it a 4 Stars. I've purchases 3 so far and they're really solid for my uses and I like them.
