For the most part, it works fine

I ordered this to replace the OEM whtie plastic sprayer which broke. This one seems to be a bit more sturdy, and the chrome finish is nice looking. The only two issues I've had are 1) When I initially connected the hose to the receptacle, I didn't realize that the O-ring wasn't properly seated inside the connector so water was coming out under the sink. I wrestled the hose back off (it uses the metal clips and rough plastic housing which I really don't like) and looked inside the hose. The O-ring (gasket) wasn't sitting flat; one side was pushed down further into the receptacle. Once I used a metal pick to lift it up and made sure it was sitting flat, I reconnected the hose. I no longer have water leaking out under the sink, but somewhere else in the chain, there is not a totally complete seal b/c when I sqeeze the "trigger", the water squirts out but I still get a small stream of water coming from the faucet. It's not a deal breaker, but I really wished it worked 100%. I'm not returning it, b/c we already went too long without having the sprayer--Home Depot does not sell Delta products so it took a while before it dawned on me to check Amazon. If anyone is one the fence about buying it b/c of the issue I have, submit a comment and I will upload a picture or two.

Perfect replacement but too much and too pric

My old spray unit leaked after 13 years and we would get a little water under the sink we couldn't figure out. The new unit works perfectly. Because of the cost, I tried one of the generic versions from a big box store first, but it wouldn't fit the flexible hose w/o replacing the end fitting. I think that was included, but my wife didn't like the looks so back it went. That forced me to pay the ~$50 for this unit which included the hose and valve at the faucet. I only needed the sprayer end which Delta should supply separately for $10 or $12. I looked everywhere including Delta's site and couldn't find that they sold separately. Anyway just screwed the new sprayer on the end of the hose and no more leak I hate to downgrade something that works perfectly but took off a star for the cost. Now I have an extra hose and pressure valve I don't need. The sink, being white enamel will probably be replaced, along with the faucet system before I do.

Easy to install, but low pressure spray

The product was easy to install, but the spray pressure is much lower than the original sprayer than came with my faucet.

I don't like quick connectors

This sprayer and hose assembly fits and functions adequately, but has a few negatives. First the only way to connect this assembly is with a supplied quick connector. Delta provide adaptors to make it work. I don't like quick connectors. Eventually they all leak or fail in some other fashion. It would have been better to allow the quick connector to be removed and use standard threaded connectors. Second, the hose is ridiculously, stupidly, ridiculously and stupidly stiff and inflexible. Did I say it is stupid? I think that I did. I know it is possible to make a hose that would move easily in and out of the below sink area - I have seen them. How much would it add to the cost, a dollar? Two maybe? Come on Delta we want a flexible hose, is that too much to ask?

Measure First

If you have a Delta faucet this may not be compatible with it. Check the tube and connections to verify they are standard size first.

Hard as hell to install

Nice product, but not at all easy to install like others said. I think Delta must have redesigned the quick connector since my faucet was installed 8-10 years ago. The o-rings and plastic seals in the connector would not seat properly in the faucet piece. It took me a couple hours to play with different versions of seals and o-rings, trying to install, getting wet every time I tried the water, Finally, through dumb luck I stumbled on to the right combination and so far it seals properly and the sprayer works very well. Gonna call a plumber next time.

READ THE WARNING

It was easy to install and really didn't give me any trouble. WARNING I found out the hard way that you really need to be sure you're ordering the right spray/hose. Each sink can be different and you need to be really sure the piece that fits into your sink is identical to the one you have now. Otherwise you'll end up wasting your money.

been using this for months, no problems. I attached the spayer to my existing hose, so I'm not using the hose that came with it. The hose that came with the assembly seems a little short however I didn't compare to my current hose.
