Genuine Parts Replacement
As others mentioned, the challenging part is to detach the old hose below the sink. The secret is to push the white ring up and then pull the hose down. Since the hose is placed in a very tough spot, it's very difficult to use both hands. So, I pushed the white ring up and asked my wife to pull the old hose down. The trick worked. Once you have the old one out, it pretty easy to replace it with the new one. It took about 12 minutes to finish the entire work.

Good way to save $ and repair a great faucet
Product was easy to install once I was able to remove the old one. A Kohler YouTube video was very helpful (google it). Was a bit tricky to get the white ring to allow the collar to release, but once it did, the install was very straight forward.

Kohler Hose Kit
The hose kit works great. As others have stated best to buy the plastic release tool (Home Depot or others have) to disengage the hose from the feed water line under sink. Make sure you get the right size one, otherwise won't easily work. Took about 20 minutes to do the change and make sure water lines are shut off before doing and capture any water from the hoses. Recommend this hose for replacement.

Old one comes out with a push and a twist
I read reviews for this product and the knockoffs. I watched the Kohler videos. I thought I was going to break the collet trying to get the original hose out. I ended up stumbling upon a YouTube video a woman made after she managed to replace hers, and she mentioned that, not only do you have to push up and hold up the collet, but you also have to twist the hose. That made a world of difference for me, since I wasn't able to brute force the hose straight out while holding up the collect. Her video helped with threading the new one back in (the gooseneck portion of the faucet is just tension mounted and lifts right off). Thrilled to have a non-leaking hose again, without paying for and installing a whole new faucet. P.S. Not related to this product, but I had mistakenly placed an order directly from Kohler for the wrong parts, and their customer service was quick and helpful. They were not able to stop the one of the parts from being shipped to me, but they canceled the order anyway and never charged me. Pleased with this brand.

Install difficulty, but replacement worked perfectly and is still going strong 1 year later
I moved into a home built 3 years prior to find the kitchen sink hose leaking. Upon some research, I found this replacement hose on amazon. The only issue is that the install was a pain. This is not a fault of the replacement hose specifically, but the push/pull removal design from Kohler and other manufacturers. Our previous hose was stuck from mineral buildup and despite a multitude of efforts, trying various tools like pliers, going to home depot and getting a sharkbite clip for better grip, we could not get it to budge at all. What finally got it was applying WD-40 and letting it sit for 10 min. After applying WD-40, using the sharkbite, and a very strong pull to get the hose out, we had success!! It now a year later, and although we have had a multitude of other homeowner issues pop up, I'm happy to say the sink hose faucet has no longer been one of them!

Right OEM part for the job!
Save time and money and order this part from Kohler to replace your hose with. Worth every penny and a great value. Quick shipping and arrived in perfect condition. Stay clear of cheaper products!!!

Perfect replacement
Not the easiest install but I’m sure you have all watched the videos. All you need is a shark bite removal tool for a few bucks and you’re in business. Push up with the tool and pull - voila. Changed it out in under 5 mins and so far so good ????

Perfect fix
I used this to replace the leaky factory line on my sink. It was a perfect fit. That connector wasn't a lot of fun and took my 15 minutes to detach, but this was plug and play. No leaks.
