Worth it!

I used this valve to remodel my shower after I saw it at a 4 star hotel remodel. I was looking for a shower valve/diverter combination and this is perfect being in one housing. People mention the "trim" being expensive, it is- until you realize all the internal shower and diverter valves are in there. The trim and handles are heavy, well made and have a beautiful finish. Follow the directions! Everything is there and easy to understand. I don't understand some people saying the holes in the shower valve are too small and they are not getting enough water out. I am on a well and my pressure is below 60 PSI all the time I have a rain shower and a handheld shower on this valve and I get plenty of water out of both individualy. Both at the same time is less as expected. If you want to get knocked against the shower wall like Rambo in First Blood get a fire hose! Otherwise this valve works perfectly fine

The build quality is very good and instructions are clear for mounting the housing. Keep in mind that you will need a 'trim kit' which actually has the control cartridges as well as the face place and control knobs. Unit can be used as a 3 position or 6 position selector with some of the positions routing water to multiple output locations (IE hand held shower and body spray at the same time) . In addition to the multiple outputs, water can be directed to each single outlet as well.

Good quality, lots of pieces

I bought this valve because I wanted multiple shower heads and be able to lock the temperature so my shower is set each time I use it. There are also water shut off valves accessible on the front. My plumber installed the pipes but left the valve assembly to me. I'm a novice on plumbing so it took about an hour to put the rough in together. We choose a trim kit which allows three water choices (rain shower only, handheld head only, or both) but this rough in can do another water sprayer if desired. I capped off that extra line. The valve seems heavy duty and had no leaks just a little confusing to assemble.

Great product pay attention to the install

Its a great product providing sufficient water flow. Make sure you read the directions . If you are using more than 2 outlets you need to purchase the correct cartridge. If you are using 2 outlets..and this is not intended for a tub spout, the right side needs to be capped . Luckily, I read a lot about the install o these and saw where people were having problems because they either disregarded or didnt know. Otherwise its performing well after a month of regular use with the 2 stage diverter. Though I read some bad reviews on delta customer service, I had a great experience.

Great valve. High quality

High quality Delta rough in valve for their combo valve, diverter trims. 3-way output is great, using it with 2 shower heads and a tub spout. Delta technically doesn't recommend this valve for tub use since the flow is slightly lower with the 3-way fitting, but if you have decent water pressure, it shouldn't be a problem. Do your research on the matching 3-way and 6-way trims for this valve. The 3-way can only make use of 2 of the 3 outputs (top and left output individually or together), while the 6-way can use all 3 outputs (any output individually or any combination of 2). This WS version of the valve also has built-in water stop valves, so you can shut off water right at the inlets. This is great for repairs and for not having to cap the outputs during construction.
