Warm and cozy bathroom
These vents with the heater are a game changer in the bathroom. They are not as pretty as some . I had a fancy light and vent before and it was noisey. I was skeptical if it would really heat the bathroom to a temp that made you feel comfortable even when wet. IT DOES!! My kids love it and say we should have one in every room of the house because the heat so well. They work so well I need to turn it off right out of the shower because it is too hot. But the mirrow does not fog anymore! Word of WARNING... These are not easy to install. If you did not already have a vent, heat and light comb you WILL need an electrician. Your will also need wire and new light switches and more. The cost of just the supplies to install these was more than the vent, and that did not include labor. It took a full day for each as we had to move all the item in the attic and remove the floor boards. Both walls needed putty and paint at the light switch so be aware of that. It was fine in the first bath as we were doing a complete remodel. But the second..... lets just say I now may be changing the paint color. Over all worth the time and money if you have a good electrian, are planing to repaint anyway and plan to stay in your home long enough to recoop the investment.

A Very Good Value
I just replaced a VERY old rusted bathroom heater/fan, going to guess it was at least 40 years old. That thing was pretty loud so this new Delta is quieter for sure. This Delta is not super quiet but I'm sure it won't wake up anybody during the night, but compared to my old one it is a lot quieter and it has a "smooth" sound when the heater and fan is turned on. The only thing I don't like is the plastic vents in the sense that you cannot adjust the direction of the air flow. It is not a big deal and I still recommend this item. I purchased this heater/fan at the beginning of 2021 and my fan is still working as it should with zero problems. For other people that got a "bad" fan well that's kind of their fault because if a home owner and SPECIALLY an experienced electrician is supposed to test such devices before doing the actual connection up on the ceiling. You never ever do a full installation before verifying the unit works. That's just common sense. The manual actually tells you to do that as well. I like this fan and I still recommend it.

Very good product, would suggest installation mods to manufacturer
Overall, the fan and heater are very good.. PROS: - Fan is very quiet and powerful - Heater is also very quiet and provides very satisfactory heat. CONS: -Installation from underneath is very difficult: I have a 150 year old house and I needed to replace the fan in the 1st floor bathroom with no overhead access. I had to open the ceiling by 24"L and 13" wide (width of my ceiling beams) to install. Additional length was required to mount the suspenders on the joists. I had to cut the suspender arms to fit within the 13" clearance (not the product's fault). I then cut a piece of sheetrock to fit with the product specifications for the housing opening. - Cover screw is too short: The installation called for the overlip on the bottom of the casing to overlap the ceiling material, however the best I could do was make it flush, this resulted in the screw that holds the cover up onto the unit being too short. I tried using a longer screw but there's very little clearance because the screw hole is directly below the heater fan housing, so if you use a longer screw it has to be just about 1/8 of an inch longer than the original. - Direction of Heat not optimal: As another reviewer pointed out, the cover directs the heater air flow down at about a 45 degree angle. For me it blows hot air directly on a shelf. It would be better to blow the hot air directly down or have an adjustable baffle. CONCLUSION: Very good product, just could use alittle re-engineering regarding installation to accommodate underneath installation. SUGGESTION: If you can rewire, use 12/2/2 wire to avoid running two separate electrical cables.. You need three hot wires (Fan, Heat, Light) plus a common and a ground.

Functional
The Delta fan/heater and light product is great. The all in one makes it easy to install and no need to buy separate devices.

I do really like this. It was so easy to install- in ...
The media could not be loaded. I do really like this. It was so easy to install- in fact, almost a direct replacement. I guess the old one was also a Delta? Still works after 20 years or more but I wanted something new and with an added heater! This unit is also very quiet even with both exhaust fan and heater running. The heater blows our pleasantly warm air and actually quite a lot of it! The blower is strong! The heater does blow out in the opposite direction of the exhaust fan so you have to plan that out before you install it. Ask yourself which direction you want it to heat. It doesn't blow straight down- it's slightly to the front or back. You could aim the heat toward the shower, for example. I will add a video so that you can see how quiet it is. Oh, and I was able to replace the light socket with a standard light socket from the old unit and I did that because I wanted to install an LED. It comes with a 26watt curly bulb, but I wanted my 13watt Daylight LED. Less energy but brighter, cleaner light. Just make sure nobody installs an old 100watt incandescent!! I'm sure this is why Delta uses the special bulb socket! 100-watt bulb would burn up the plastic light cover (which is exactly what happened to my old one from the previous house owner!)
