Made in USA, the real deal. Affordable and actually useable for longer than rated. Great for emergencies, camping, and sometimes I even toss a few to the kids to play with at night! Why buy the junky ones when you can get these babies for the same price!

Best ones on the market
For the discerning raver you'd like to know that these glow sticks have a closed loop on the top - perfect for tying your ropes to. For the camping enthusiast, you'll be happy with the brightness and longevity of these sticks. Shipping was fast, and the sticks come in a plastic package, so easy to store and travel with. Each individual stick also has its own package. Functional, bright and worth it.

Obviously there are a plethora of uses for these handy light sticks - Whatever the application (realistic) - These won't disappoint - I use them for film and photography work on set - While they aren't going to turn anything into searing bright noon sun, they are the perfect tool to have in the event you need light ASAP - Keep in mind these are more geared for being able to be seen rather than using them to illuminate areas to see; by no means does that mean you can't use them in place of a flashlight, it's just anyone who thinks a single glow stick is going to 'light the beacons' will be disappointed. Perfect for camping, breakdowns, signaling, etc - The ultimate sell for me and what I will say that might be the deciding factor for anyone on the fence: If your power goes out, you can use one of these to find your way to the breaker, it will illuminate the path in pitch darkness and yes, it emits enough light to read a book with - No, you won't be able to light up the house with 1 (although with several you prob could if needed) - The light does fade (but still lasts longer than what package indicates) - And these can take a beating in storage without going dead - Much safer than flares, no heat, non-toxic and regardless of the expiration date, these will live way beyond there printed shelf life. I am still using ones off ebay that I got years ago (expired in 1997) and in a side by side test of the new ones with an antique one, you can't even tell the difference - I don't think there is much of a difference between the military, industrial or high intensity ones - I can't tell any difference in brightness between the grades, and some others have pointed out the same observation - The only difference is price - Watch for the price to dip and snag them up. Great to have on hand at home, work, the car, toolbox, etc - No complaints here!

I didn't read there were 6 inches.. which is cool, I was expecting the 4-in ones that we all used to use back in the day when my friends and I would "DANCE" and put on "LIGHT SHOWS" with them ???? .... Yeah.. YOU GUYS GET IT. Expecting them to work as described..I mean they're glow sticks. So giving four stars unless something changes and I find they're all have been cracked already. Little pricey from what I'm used to but I'm comparing that to the prices from (I'm dating myself here) many many ..many years ago.. so 20 bucks for what you get is actually a pretty good deal if you need that many, or need a variety of colors at once, especially for multiple people.. which is sometimes difficult to find at a party City or something.

Great emergency light or distraction
I have used Cyalume since i was a kid camping. These are a good source of emergency light. No batteries to worry about, non toxic i believe, and does not get hot. Not only are they good for light, but if you have little ones that get antsy or worried at night while youre out, just crack one of these and they will be entertained for a while. I keep these in my go bag in my truck. Worth having!!

Great for Search and Rescue
I'm on my county's Search and Rescue team and use these all the time in training and real world situations, primarily for marking search grids or important spots at night or in bad visibility. Flagging tape is usually my weapon of choice but it's good to have these just in case you really need someone to know where something is. These are visible from the air as well, mostly in large fields though. Would reccomend!

A little higher price point for a pretty good product.
The price might be a little high for 12 glorified glow sticks… but they are decently bright and hold for a long time. I read somewhere this company contracts to the US Military; idk if that is true, but I guess if so… cool? I’ll be testing them on a camping trip soon and plan to keep some in my car emergency kit too. They function as described, I only wish the price was maybe not as high, you may be better off with a larger quantity.

Divertidas, buenos colores, buena calidad y brillan +12hrs
Excelente compra, duran brillando como por 12hrs, tal vez un poco más aunque con un poco menos de intensidad pero suficiente para que duren prendidas toda una noche. Todos los colores geniales pero nuestra favorita es la color verde, aunque comprar colores variados le da el toque extra. Si recomiendo comprar el paquete de varios colores.

Me llegaron en tiempo y forma
Hola, compré estas luces químicas para un proyecto de mi sobrino. Ya he usado este tipo de productos antes y en general son buenos. Lo usaba de excursión y en fiestas. Iluminan muy bien. Lo Malo de Amazon es que según ellos me llegaban un martes, y yo confiado salí el sábado y resulta que los llevaron ese día. Mucho antes de la fecha programada y eso es un problema cuando no hay nadie en casa. Por lo demás, todo bien.

Excelente adquisición para emergencias
La verdad las compré para tenerlas disponibles en caso de emergencia. Probé una, para activarla y comprobar su luz, alcance y desempeño. No duran las 12 horas que comenta, pero, en caso de emergencia, te abarca perfectamente tu necesidad de iluminar durante las horas más oscuras hasta el amanecer. Probé la de luz naranja. La arrojé al pasto, la colgué, la acerqué a un libro y si tiene buena iluminación. Muy recomendable para emergencias

Estas cosas nunca fallan, son súper consistentes! La luz que emiten OBVIAMENTE no es muy brillante pero si te ayudan mucho en situaciones de emergencia!
