Top quality Culligan replacement filters - perfect fit
I have an old 2-stage (2 filters) inline Culligan H2O filter. Mine requires that one of these plus one (more expensive) D30A be replaced every six months. These Culligan filters are top quality. No burrs or separations. Perfect fit every time. They do a nice job to provide clear, tasty water. When new, no pressure restriction. Of course as they age and build up all the gunk we don't want in our glass, water pressure drops.

Great value if they fit.
Bought these as we live on a well to remove some of the sulfur taste. Installed and notice the unit leaking. Tighten the filter housing a little more and it seemed to quit leaking. Only to my surprise this filter is at least 1/4” longer than the white filter causing the on/off valve to push up ant cause the leak to be delayed coming over the top as when I tightened the filter it pushed the valve up and leaked all over my laminate floor causing all kinds of warpage. Bummer since it was leaking over the top at a slow dribble took a while to notice and it was too late. Wrong size for whole house filter. Change dealing to be 1/4” shorter to fit properly.

Ama,on h has the filters
Drinking water gets purified with this filter. I have 2 filters under my sink to clean our well water. I had trouble finding the charcoal filters that removes bad tastes. Amazon to the rescue. They found them for me.

Easy to install, easy to forget to replace
I'm not a water filter user by choice, I grew up drinking unfiltered tap water, and haven't ever cared to change. But when we bought our new house, it had an in-line filter installed. After six months, our water pressure dropped precipitously low and we realized that A) We had a water filter B) The filter needs to be changed A little research turned up the D-10A, which appears to be exactly what we needed. Installation is simple: shut off the water valve under the sink, run the faucet until the water stops, and unscrew the filter holder (be careful not to tip it and spill the remaining water). Toss the old filter out, put the new one in, turn the water back on and let it run for about 20 minutes or so (to clean out the filter). You should be good to go from there. It certainly brought our water pressure back, though I admit that I don't detect a huge change in the water's taste. I have to mark the dates of my filter installation to make sure I don't forget to swap them out - I've gone about six months without seeing the drop in water that caused us to realize we have a filter. This product is recommended if you have an in-line water filter.

Affordable filters that get the job done.
We have used a Reverse Osmosis filter for over 10 years now, upon moving into our new home that has some of the dirtiest well water I have ever seen! I don’t know why because it’s supposed to be a deep well we go through the first 2 filters in our RO system once a month the sediment coming out to the well completely blocks the system pressure drops from 50-60 psi to under 1 psi on the RO system, I’m glad we found these affordable filters! I was starting to think it would be cheaper to buy bottled water here vs using our RO system!

Carbon Mixed with Radon Makes Your Filter Radioactive!!!
I bought these filters to install in my “whole house point-of-entry” water filtration unit. It rests on the water line just before my radon well water mitigation system. The problem with that, as I learned later, is that the carbon filter absorbs radon before the water is treated by the system rendering the filter radioactive! I’d think it might be a good idea for the item description to include a warning about this if they’re in the business of selling water treatment supplies. As a customer, I had no idea that I’d be exposing myself to radioactive materials when I went to change that filter in three months. I’m so thankful to my radon repair guy for letting me know and safely disposing of that filter for me. I recommend consumers do as my radon guy suggested and buy only the string filters if you have a radon system configured as mine is because they are apparently just as effective.

Rapid (large) price fluctuations + subscribe and save = less than honest sales tactics
Filter itself is good. 4/5 stars, possibly 5/5 with more usage. Low star review for deceptive sale tactics. I purchased for $15.78 with the option to "subscribe and save". A couple days ago the price was $32! The price as of Wednesday, March 06, 2019 is $26! Not cool. I would definitely but again if I didn't have to worry about overpaying by 100% ($15.78 vs over $32)
