Good table for the camp site.
Not something you'd be hiking long distance with buy a good little set up for a tailgate or weekend outing

Great for the price
It all seems great, compact and well built but haven't put it to the test on a trip yet. My only suggestion is to make the side stove platform taller. I have a tote I carry my Coleman stove in and flip it upside down to raise the stove to the counter height.

Coleman still makes great stuff!
I bought one of these over 30 years ago and it was the center of my camping kitchen setup on hundreds of campouts. It was light, sturdy and easy to put up and take down. Sadly, while breaking camp in the dark last year, I folded up the leg system incorrectly and bent and broke a few parts. I immediately ordered another one from Amazon and was really concerned about the quality of the item as things tend to not be built as well as they were decades ago. I was pleasantly surprised that the Coleman Camp Kitchen was the same in many ways but they actually made a few improvements in how its assembled. The assembly instructions were clear and now I've got a camp kitchen that should last another 30 years!

Mostly fine...
Lightweight: Check. Easy to assemble: Check (I'm a guy so I never looked at the instruction book.) Prep table: Sturdy, good height, like the little utensil holder though it seems a tad flimsy. Still, so far, so good. Stove stand portion: I never put a stove on it to test due to the damage discussed below but it seems very sturdy and not "wiggly". That's good. However it seems like the stove will be significantly lower than the side table surface, which baffles me why the engineers made it that way. I will likely build a box as a stand to raise it up 4 inches or so higher. I immediately ordered a return and a replacement, however, and just boxed it all back up. The USPS was the last to handle the box but they left the box in the condition on the enclosed photo. Exterior of the unit seemed intact so I wasn't going to make a deal out of it. Set up the unit and noticed 2 pieces laying on the driveway that came from a broken corner of the stove stand. Mind you, this portion of the unit is enclosed by the table, so wasn't even exposed directly to whatever blunt force was used to destroy the box. Part of me wanted to just get out my plastic welder and fix the broken pieces but at $85, and ample time before needing it, I decided to initiate the return and, as always, Amazon's systems make it easy. The broken piece causes me some concern for the long term durability of the unit, but I will return after (hopefully) I receive an intact model and can test it out. In a perfect world, Coleman could just send the side table and I'd send them the broken one. I've sized up different kitchens and, for the price and based upon the final product, I think it would be as good as any other. All have pros & cons. Just double check to make sure no broken parts are inside the case!

This kitchen is great. You just need to protect it.
I bought this kitchen specifically for the convenience to my trip to Minnesota to camp. With that said, every camping trip is different and so is the weather. To put it in perspective, we camped in an Oak Grove adjacent to a lake. You didn't park where you camped, so you basically walked close to a quarter of a mile to your campsite. I read the reviews regarding the "bubbling" of the particle board by the following morning. I bought a 6x8 tarp and bungee cords so that when we set it up during the day, we could create a cover for the entire top of the kitchen at night (stove, utensils, spice, etc). After the stove cooled off after dinner we pulled the tarp from behind the kitchen and draped it over the top and front and bungeed the front to the aluminum legs. In the morning, not a drop of dew or moister underneath this and the aluminum legs held up just fine. Let me put it this way: would you want to buy a "pack-away kitchen" known for how light and convenient it is (particle board and aluminum), but expect it to be constructed of wood and steel? The weight is perfect, so you can't complain about what they used to make it with. Not to mention, it fit great in the packed trunk of the car. This isn't a product you can manhandle, but it can hold up fine if you use it properly. Also, I've seen complaints regarding the propane tank not having a rest. I normally take a storage box/bin when I go camping (waterproof and holds all your random stuff) so it worked out to rest the tank on that when we cooked since it sat to the right of the whole kitchen anyway. We disconnect our propane after every use, so it doesn't get in the way of getting into the bin. We set up camp during the day and the first night camping we had thunderstorms all night. Woke up the next morning and took the tarp off...and not one "bubble" on/underneath the table. The second night there was a wind storm, and the lake didn't help cut down the 50+mph winds. Our campsite ended up losing a total of one very large canopy and 1.5 gazebos (it didn't COMPLETELY destroy the one the kitchen was in)from snapping poles. Our kitchen didn't fall over and the tarp held up yet again. Not a spot on my whole kitchen other than some mud. True, this can be flimsy and dent a bit because it stands on aluminum legs and has a laminated-like particle board table. However, it was one of the lightest things I had to carry to camp AND it had handles...my air mattress is decently lightweight but doesn't have handles. :) I would recommend this product if you have the patience to take care of it. It's simple to set up and take down, but you have to take a couple extra minutes to protect it.

It Serves It's Purpose Well. At The Right Price.
The value at full price is not there. I picked this up in the warehouse for half price. It is a good value at half price. Not at full price. There is some assembly involved. It is not a fold out and use. You put the leg extensions on the table. Then fold out the stove table and connect it to the table using plastic clips. The lantern holder uses two tabs and a velcro strap. And the utensil holder inserts into two grooves. Takes about 5 minutes. The table is for prep or a griddle. Coffeemaker. You will not be putting your solar battery on it. There is wobble. It won't be used as a baby changing station. You will want to keep the tabletop dry and clean. Warpage is possible. There is a lot of plastic. With care they should last a while. I can see how they can easily break if not careful. But eventually expect some plastic to break due to use and deterioration. When is a good question. Easy to carry. Compact. As stated before, half price is a yes. Full price, look elsewhere.

Folds easy, light weight, useful
Very handy. Used it as a base kitchen for camp. Quick set up and take down. Easy to store. Very happy.

Design and quality of the 1970's.
Shoddy craftsmanship and design for this kitchen. All the levers & clasps you'll use to open and close this thing are rough-turning and have rough edges since they've been punched out of a sheet of aluminum with no cleanup to soften the sharp edges. The tabletop surface has a visual print that's straight out of 1970 and it's also made from fiberboard which will be a problem in the rain. Imagine a glossy chessboard that's a bit thicker. Not great. Every place I looked, a rivet wasn't symmetrically placed on either side. Hard plastic pieces for the grill table are supposed to securely fasten a couple arms, but one piece broke the first time disassembling the unit. A look at the plastic used reveals that it's an ultra-brittle type which isn't suitable for this purpose. I usually like Coleman products, but this one is a stinker and needs to be completely redesigned.

Great
We recently bought a travel trailer but found cooking inside a pain. My husband had been eyeing this for a year so I just bought it. It is the 1st thing we set up after we level the trailer. Easy to assemble and pack up. Used it probably 1/2 dozen times before camping season was over. Zero issues.

Good enough, but not as good as it used to
I owned the previous version of this table and it was great. Now it is still good enough, but materials feel cheaper and once assembled is not has sturdy. They changed the way it assembles and folds for a more basic and reliable approach, it now fits in the case very easily. The low weight is amazing and the main reason I bought this one again. Just don’t expect high quality material nor manufacturing anymore.

Perfect for the Outdoors....
Just received my Camp Kitchen. I thought it would be flimsy, but the thing is solid and steady as a rock. Great engineering by Coleman to make this unit collapse into a small package. Excellent quality and value for the money. The only drawback is it's awkward to set up. You need space to fit it all together. Recommend you build it on blanket or tarp if in a forest. This is far better than a basic folding table and has a smaller footprint for easy storage and transport. Highly recommended.

Perfect for picnic, bbq and camping
So.... this was something we have been waiting to buy for a while for camping. We are tent campers and a family so the extra space away from the picnic table is perfect . Under the table we have space for a bin(rubbermaid storage bin we use for all our cast iron and camp stove etc. The mesh holds our beloved picnic basket which holds all our plate bowls cutlery etc. As for the part that you are to put the stove on. Also perfect to put a wash basin for washing your dishes after supper
