2nd Coleman ATV rear seat/storage I have purchased

I had already purchased this Coleman canvas storage/seat for my ATV and my teenage grandson just got a new ATV for his Christmas..so I purchased this storage/seat for his ATV... it's way better than having a backpack on his back. Now he has sooo much extra storage for tools/tow rope, tie downs, a small tent, a sleeping bag, snacks and drinks, a change of clothes/boots and a jacket/hoodie, plus a passenger...I'm sure the other teens my grandson goes out riding with, will be purchasing one for their ATV's too. (They did go up $30, but my grandson is worth the $100 I paid for his and it's still the best deal online too!)

Flimsy

While it doesn't take much to put this together, it would have been nice to have some instructions. I am still stretching this out to see if it will work on the atv. The seat has very little padding. I'm probably going to return for something in the $200 plus range.

One trail ride and it was done for

Before buying this I read a bunch of different reviews regarding the zipper and the amount of water it kept out. Figured I would give them a shot. Took these bags on one trail ride and they were done for. Zippers coming undone, debris/water in the “sealed” compartments. If you plan on buying these bags for street use, sure buy them. If you plan on taking them on anything off road, highly suggest not purchasing.

Great pack, alot of room and items are well secured in pack!

I just got this bag this week, and therefore this review isn't written knowing how it will hold up down the road, but initial impression is very good for this bag. Put this on my 2008 Sportsman Polaris 500 HO, and while it took some creativity on how to strap this to the polycomposite back rack and get it centered and tight, I am very impressed with the amount it holds. In one side bag, I keep all my emergency items (Tire plugs, tool kit, spare belt, air compressor, etc), in the other side pocket I keep food and drink for the days ride (usually 3-4 water bottles, jerky, granola bars, trail mix), and the back bag I keep spare clothes and an emergency blanket in. The pad that allows someone to sit on is a little smaller than I thought, but as it is for my Aussie Shepherd to sit on during rides, thats okay as he will fit sitting on it. The bag is NOT water proof, only water resistant, so keep that in mind. The day I put the pack on, I ended up on a trail with alot of puddles, some of which I may have driven through a little enthusiastically, and while water did hit the bag it beaded and rolled off and all my stuff was dry inside. The next day however there was a rainstorm and my ATV wasn't covered, and the clothes inside the pack ended up a little damp. Not a big deal if you are aware of it and make sure to pack things that can't get wet into a garbage or ziploc bag. All 3 bags zip shut, then have the top velcro shut AND buckle shut, so absolutely no concerns that I will lose anything out of a pack on a bumpy ride. My only gripe is the drawstring on the water bottle holders does not pull very tight, and loosens pretty easily, so on a bumpy trail your better off to throw that water bottle in the pack or under some bungee cords on the front rack so you don't lose it. All in all, for what I paid, I am very happy with the pack and would recommend.

Not bad at all for the price

I was looking for one so my son can ride out with me when we ice fish. The day it came my 7 year old put it on the back rack and set up "his seat". There's a far amount of storage in the side bags and the back one. We have been out with it a hand full of times with no issues. He even took me for a ride on it and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. We put a small tackle box in the back, lunch and a few drinks in the side and a few ices rods and tip ups in the other side and it works well. When I was looking at them in store they where any where from $60 to $80 more.

This is an awesome seat!

Bought this for my husband's Bike, he loves it, very durable, lots and lots of places and spots to store things, seat is comfortable! Much more comfy than my flimsy $500 plastic seat , he takes it in the mud and rain, it does the trick all the way around, wish I had of seen this before I grabbed a big uncomfortable expensive one! He won't trade me lol It's a great seat, totally recommend!

Low cost but you get what you pay for

Arrived on time. 3 weeks after installed 1 of the zippers broke. Only used a couple times. After a few times of being used the zippers broke too easily. After a years use...not only did the zippers break it faded badly and the stitching let go one one of the compartments. Time for another.

Fabric might be ok.. however if the zippers, yes, plural.. I mean all of them brake in one weekend they usage is very limited.. off-road.. mud all over the place.. you get my point ?

Nice bag

It's a nice bag, the inserts to keep it erect need a little massaging back into shape as there kinda limp looking when ya unpackage it....... hahaha but I have it mounted to a 1984 Honda atc200s and the back seat pad is awesome over the tail bone smashing rack
