I love these shorts, but they are inappropriate to wear in public, around your wives friends, family, or children. I reserve them for when it’s just my wife and I and they are closers for sure.

I like it more than speedos

I had only speedos mashed potatoes ones before this and this to my suprise, was much more comfy and made out of better material to the skin in my opinion.

I love TYR products, but these were not for me. They felt like a diaper, and I'm not there yet

I love TYR products. Literally, everything I am swimming with right now is TYR - googles, jammer, and fins - but these were not for me. They felt like granny panties or a diaper. I'm a 53 year old guy, and no one wants to see all this. Now, back in the day, 20-30 years ago, I would have rocked it. So, take what I am saying with a grain of salt. They were very comfortable.

Beware of the fit - extra material in the front creates a baggy fit (and some extra drag)

I ordered the same size I would with other training swim suits. This model fits fine in the waist and the back, but the front has a extra material which makes it baggy. Strange that it doesn't just go straight across the front like my other square leg training suits. So this one isn't for me, as I just want it to be simple and form-fitting.

Exactly what my swimmer asked for

Item fit just as expected. There is a drawstring to adjust fit. I've had 2 high school swimmers, two college swimmers, and one comp swimmer (who will be starting high school swim next year) These are working great. He's leaned back down now that the pool is open and tapering for a meet. He wears a 28 in jammers. We ordered a 34 in these. He wears them over his jammers. We loved the size up for more resistance. There is no slipping of the shorts as they can be tightened. Will buy again.

Product is good seller sent wrong color

No problem with the suit. I had one of these for almost 6 years using it twice a week. I gave it 3 stars to the new pair because the seller sent me the wrong color.

need to wear one size or two down

I ordered the mens 30 after measuring my waist at 31 inches and hip at 37 inches. Using their size chart that would be small or 30. It's very loose and sure I could go to x-small or 28.

These are a poor cut, no support at the front for your male genitalia, so I guess wear other trunks underneath. The fit is more baggy/loose than shown in the Amazon photo, appreciating that they are a drag training swimsuit. They are not made in the USA as claimed in the item description, but made in China as my photo confirms.

Order a size up at least

This is a training swim suit designed to be a little bit baggy to create drag in the water and more resistance. It works really well for me so far, there is enough space in the front for my penis. I suggest ordering a size up since this is supposed to be a bit more baggy than a regular swimming trunks. It's comfortable and perfect for lap training.
