Heavy duty with removable outlet.

I'm impressed with the thickness of the wire. It never warms up when charging my car. I also like the fact that you can remove the outlet so that if you wanted to go through a wall, you only need to drill a hole. Take a picture of the wiring inside before dismantling so you reattach correctly.

A big, solid extension cord

This is a big, solid extension cord. I tested it by using it to charge an electric car. The charger does NOT complain about a wiring fault, and the voltage drop across the cord is only 1-2 volts. I typically charge at 230 volts, but with the extension cord I get 228 or 229 volts. My only issue, and the reason for 4 stars, is that the connectors do not appear to have a water tight connection to the cable. It isn't advertised as being weather proof, so I don't feel ripped off; just a bit disappointed. Care will have to be taken if I ever use it outside.

Perfect solution for my Tesla charger!

This works perfectly to extend my clothes dryer outlet to the front of the house, so that I could run my Tesla charger out to my driveway. I unscrewed the cover from the female end and mounted the socket to the wall. I ordered the matching NEMA 14-30 adapter from Tesla ($35), and now easily charge my Model 3 overnight. This has proven invaluable now that the weather has gotten cold, since I'm able to have a full charge AND a warm vehicle when I leave for work in the morning. Charging with a 110V outlet was so slow, I'd have to make a trip to a supercharger at least once a week.

Heavy Duty

This cable weighs in at almost 10 lbs. I used it to wire in my 220v car lift using the welding outlet in my garage. Worked perfectly. The receptacle end came off easily allowing me to use the newly exposed wires to connect to the junction box on the lift. Very happy with this purchase.

High quality

This is a great extension cord, with thick insulation. Both ends (male and female) are sturdy and very well built. It is better than I had expected. I am using it to charge my EV outside the garage when the garage isn’t free.

Awesome and FAST!

I received the cable in just a few days! This is exactly what I need to run my welder in the garage off the 240VAC dryer outlet in the mud room. It also allows me to test oven/ranges that I use in my rentals.

Incorrectly wired!!!

This was incorrectly wired. I thought my brand new dryer was not working, had a tech come, to find out the cable is faulty. The hot wire(red) and neutral (white) are not correctly wired. Better check before plugging in! Waste my time and money!! ????????

Not a good fit

The original dryer outlet is 3.5 cm. This product outlet is only 3.3 cm. Not sure if this will cause problem. Haven't tried to turned it on yet.
