Perfect Fit

Purchased this plug after a recommendation. It was perfect for my little do it yourselfer project. I gave this item five stars in the Weatherproof and Durability categories even though I haven't had time enough to fully evaluate the product. I am purely going on my belief that it will meet both categories but I see nothing as of yet why it wouldn't. I converted a Rigid 2.0 Pro Gear Power Tool Case into a dual purpose case for storing up to seven batteries (more if you eliminate the kaizen foam) along with two charging stations and a 6' long extension cord. I will also be able to charge my batteries at the job site via the case (when the case is open). My project turned out fantastic thanks to the Noco 2 to 1 plug.

HEAVY DUTY WELL MADE AC PORT PLUG

VERY WELL MADE PRODUCT, EXTREMLY EASY TO INSTALL. JUST BORE A 2 INCH HOLE AND PUT INTO WALL PLUG THROOUGH HOLE WITH ONY 3 SRREWS HOLD IT IN PLACE. THIS THIS AC PORT PLUG SAVED ME FROM SPENDING $2000.00 TO RUN POWER TO MY BUILDING.

Perfect for vehicles in cold areas!

Work great to keep cords for block heaters and battery maintainers up off the ground and not coated in snow or ice. The “cap/plug” cover is flexible even in colder weather vs plastic spring loaded ones.

One design flaw

Very easy install and great solution to add shore power access to my van. However, one of the screw holes is directly aligned with the base of the cord, making it difficult and slightly dangerous when installing that the screw may break through the protective cable casing. Would be so much easier to not have those lined up.

Quality item, used it to bring power into a shed

Needed this to bring power into a shed without pinching a cord in the door, works great!. Simple to install, used a 2" hole saw to cut a hole, and used the included fasteners to mount it. Included the gasket and mounting screws.

Could be a stronger mount

I love the look and the feel of this. It can be very clean, but the problem is that the mount itself wasn’t strong enough to me. If you just use the screws, I feel like they will eventually pull out of the bumper and cause a lot of flex in the three spots. Instead, I got a metal plate and mounted it behind the plug with some M5 nuts and bolts. Much more solid now.

2019 Silverado installation

Great product, delivers functionality, clean looking installation and holds up flawlessly at -40° in northern Alberta. Drilled a 2" hole in the plastic portion of my '19 Silverado front bumper, slammed it in with a metal bracket on the backside for extra support and now I'm running my block heater and NOCO Gen1 charger off a single plug. Well worth the money, just make sure you have someone competent do the installation or you can cause unnecessary damage to your vehicle.

Worth it!

Worth it. Easy to install. Cables are long enough to plug in what you need. I’m using this for an in cabin heater and an engine block heater. Now it’s just one connection and that’s it. The plug and cover will protect against the elements and it won’t come loose. 100% recommended.
