Fix your packaging! the pump doesn't work! I resorted to opening the bottle to dump product in my hand. not good. now it's too late to return?

My hair has been colored since I was 16 years old, and I’m in my 40’s now- so lots of damage has been done. I have very dry hair with fly-aways and frizz. Think straw-like… My hair has seen better days. I’ve tried other hair treatments (hot oils) and serums (It’s A 10, Frizz Ease, Sebastian, John Frieda, etc) over the years, but most weighed my hair down or would look like a greasy oil slick. I’m pleasantly surprised by Colorproof Smooth Drops! It comes out of the bottle like an oil, very runny. It has the feel of a serum and a light oil scent. I only needed 2 pumps to finish my entire head. I noticed a difference immediately with the way my split ends and breakage seemed to look far less noticeable. I didn’t have fuzzy strands standing up on top of my head like I usually do right after a blow dry. I was nervous about using too much because I was heading out to a family party and didn’t want to rewash my hair, so I put two pumps of this stuff on my palm and rubbed my hands together then worked it through my hair top to bottom, staying away from my roots which tend to get a bit oily on their own anyways. My ends are the driest part of my hair and they actually looked healthy for once! It absorbed immediately and the smell disappeared pretty quickly which I appreciate. I’m not a fan of strong perfumes in hair products. I took a couple pics of my hair after working the smooth drops through my hair. I also used a straightener afterwards and feel it gave my hair a layer of protection against the heat of the straightening iron. After about 8 hours, my hair still looked decent; less frizz, less puffy, less dry than usual. And even after a full day, I didn’t look greasy. I’m very happy with this product and will continue using it whenever I need to smooth my hair and make it look healthier. The 2oz bottle is small, but a little goes a long way, so it will last a long time. If you have very dry, color treated hair, I’d highly recommend trying this!

I am rating 4 isntead of 5 becasue of frizziness. I don't think it does much in the way of frizz. However, it defiently helps in other areas. Great for misture and softness. Good oil, I'd get again

Smells great, and doesn't leave hair greasy.
I really enjoy this smoothing serum, and find it comparable to a name brand option that is ten dollars a bottle more. I found that the scent is quite pleasant, and it left my hair soft and frizz free (really helped with my breakage and flyaways from damage). It is a heavier serum, so I could see it getting a little greasy on the hair if applied to thick. I have short hair (at shoulder length) and used one and a half pumps, and that was too much, I ended up wiping the excess off onto my towel. I can easily go 4+ days without washing my hair, and this hasn't seemed to make my hair greasy any faster than normal :) great for damaged or dry hair, I would 100% buy this!

Colorproof smooth drops has floral scent which it claims as starfruit. It smells strong when it is pumped out but goes away after applying it on hair. My hair is medium length and I use 2 pumps. It is not greasy at all but I do see my hair becomes shiny and less frizzy. It comes with 1.85 fl oz but can last for a long time because only few drops are needed every time.

Reduces frizz and further defines curls. Incredibly shiny hair. :)
My kids all have gorgeous curly hair that's prone to frizz. Using this in conjunction withColorproof's Tru Curl does miraculous things to their curls. Tru Curl defines their curls, and adding this on top further reduces frizz and adds a level of shine that might blind you in sunlight without being heavy, greasy or overly oily. A small amount - two pumps - worked gently over damp curls after the cream is all you need. I'm not a huge fan of the scent of it, but it does work beautifully.

A little goes a long way
A good product that does make my hair look smoother and shinier. I've used it on dry hair to tame frizzies but my favorite application is on towel dried hair before blow drying. Be aware that a little goes a long way. The pump always delivers about twice as much product as I need but it seems to be metered and I can't do a half-pump. The oil has a noticeable fragrance but it's not overpowering or offputting.
