Be warned, the smell in the bottle is earthy with a kinda citrus / lavender smell, on your head.. its more like vix vapor rub.. not everyone will like it. is it worth 135 quid?? probably not, is it better than any of the other hair oil and treatment things Ive tried? yes, by quite a long way. I will preface my explaination with.. Ive never permed or bleached my hair, Ive occasionally straightened it, I dont even generally blow dry it - in fact Im not sure in the last 16 years if Ive used a hair dryer I can think of.. so, my hair you'd think was in nice condition and every time Ive been to a hairdresser (which is not as often as they'd like) they always say it is .. but you know what, I live with it, and I dont feel like it is.. my hair is nearly waist length, and well you know some bits of it has the texture of pubes, you know that course jagged feeling.. On top of that my hair is a bit straw-like, but, no matter what Ive rubbed, lotion-ed, washed it in and with.. its still felt a bit like straw, and when its greasy.. it feels like dry straw in oil.. yep,, my hair is confused and feels as a whole to me at least .. bad. Ive been on the "No poo" method now for about 6 months and as a whole this has certainly improved a lot of how my hair looks to the world, but this texture to me, is still there. So, I saw this on a youtube thing and they were actually unsure on whether they liked it, but, something which was said by someone else in the video made me think.. I have to give it a go.. even if its just like every other hair oil.. at least I'll know.. Now, i tried argon oil and it sits on me like I slapped butter on my head, moroccan oil sits well does make it a bit nicer and certainly helps it be less tangled after it first dries and doesnt make it seem greasy, but.. Im not sure its doing much else for me. However, Im on day 2 of this (it says apply 3 drops..) now.. I willl say if I put 3 drops in my hands and rub my hands together to distribute the oil over my hands seem to go, "ooh thanks for that I'll absorb 99% of that" however, because I was starting out I decided to rub some in my scalp in a specifically bad spot I have, and then I did put 3 drops on my hands and go through the mid and ends of my hair and you know what. I feel like my hair feels like it should.. it feels soft, it doesnt feel strawy, its not greasy, only time will tell if it will help the bad spot grow better... but, it certainly does feel better..
