A nice first needlepoint.

This review is written by my daughter, age 8: This is a good product I like it very much but is tricky and needs grown-up supervision just in case because after the one lined that I did at the top I didn’t know immediately how to do the next with the string I had. And tricky to get the needle and make sure to use the paper like it says on instructions OK.

Great for Elderly!

I've been buying these for my 90 year old grandmother. She used to be able to cross stitch, sew, and craft in her younger years, but the older she gets, the harder it has become, due to tremors and arthritis. She absolutely loves these. The bigger holes and needles are so helpful. I'll continue to buy these for her. Please make a lot more patterns, because you now have a lifelong customer.

Disappointed

We lost the needle right away and the product does not seem to offer an option to purchase a replacement needle. Other needles cannot pass through the small openings in the plastic canvass.

What more could an eight-year-old girl wish for!

Perfect all the way around: Hearts, a rainbow, and brilliant colors. She's done a piece using this needlework technique before and wanted me to find another. Here it is! And she loves it!

Don’t follow the pattern in the instructions, otherwise exactly what I wanted

This was just what I wanted for my daughters first try. In the directions it came with a pattern which I tried to have her follow so she could learn to follow a pattern and count stitches, however in following the pattern it wasn’t matching with the printed picture. Then I realized there weren’t even the same number of total holes on the plastic as the pattern showed. I then had her just follow the printed picture, so it turn out okay and she enjoyed it. What was the point of having a pattern in the instructions though? Otherwise happy with the product.

Great kit, but colors are way off

This really is a great beginner’s kit. Cute and simple design, everything included, good enough size to feel like a full project without taking so long it’s not enjoyable anymore. My only problem is that the colors don’t match the photo at all. The colors for the rainbow are pictures as bright pink, yellow, blue and bright green. The “yellow” is deep orange, though. And the “blue” is hunter green... so it’s not a very pretty rainbow at all. My daughter noticed the discrepancy immediately and was disappointed. That said, she’s still enjoying the craft and the introduction to a new skill. The result just isn’t nearly as pleasing to her.

The kit is cute, my only issue is that it’s missing a needle! Also the box was practically crushed, luckily the frame wasn’t cracked as it’s just plastic. I was going to give it as a present but given the condition I wasn’t able to do that

Great first embroidery project

This craft is a great way for my 5 year old daughter to work on fine tasks and coordination. She really enjoys to sit with me and work on this project. The colours of yarn that I received did not match the colours on the box, but it is good enough for a 5 year old.

Disappointing Product

Very disappointed in that the colour yarn depicted on the package was not the colours found in the kit. There was no red and yellow yarn for the hearts and rainbow, instead there was orange and two green/blue yarns. Had to complete the needlepoint with extra bought yarn. Also, I thought the needlepoint would clip into the frame but there is nothing to hold it in. I ended up using double-sided tape around the frame edges and put dabs of glue in the corners to attach it to the frame.

Great quality

Perfect little craft for my near 5 year old. Great quality and perfect for road trips
