Easy to use

This is a great knitting nancy. The pegs are the perfect size & shape making the tool fun and easy to use. The inside of the spool is smooth so it won’t snag. Having the feature to alter heads for different patterns is a clever gotta-have. I tried 3 other types of French knitters-forget about them-this is the one you and the kids will enjoy.

Works great, a worthwhile purchase, I think I'll use often.

It's easy to use, comes with an instruction sheet, feels solid, and the middle of the body is just sheer enough so you can see your work as you start. Someone said they didn't like the crochet hook, but I think it works well and don't know why they had a problem with it. Right now I'm making Garland out of Lion Brand "Vanna's Glamour" which is basically white with threads of metallic gold thread running through it. Using the 4 peg head. It's going to look great on my Christmas tree I'm decorating with Lions and Lion & Lamb ornaments!

A Good Value

This is a good version for a beginner in spool knitting. It also works well making jewelry too. I enjoy using it. It fits my hand while providing the support that is needed. I am not as enthused with the hook though. I would recommend purchasing a real loom hook as it fits the hand bettr.

Great fun making jewelry with this! Super easy!

I need a new hobby like a hole in the head but I wanted down a YouTube rabbit hole one afternoon and saw this being used for jewelry making. I was intrigued and for less than $10 I thought, what the heck I'll try it. It's super easy, super quick and kind of addictive to use. I've made 2 beautiful beaded bracelets already and I'm going down my Christmas list for this year!

So easy to use

I LOVE this French knitter!!! I have had others and the pins were smaller, the hook was straight and they were very hard to use. This one has larger pins, the hook is curved and there are channels in the pins to make it easier to get under the threads. I definitely recommend this! If you quit French knitting because it was too hard try this one, you won't regret it!

Tricky to start learning

I used a similar tool which as a child helped me to get the hang of knitting. This is hard for me to get the loops over.

Pretty much this just makes I cord. You can pre-string your beads on your yarn or thread and make you I cord pushing a bead in between the stitches as desired. It come with 3 different heads so you can change from 3 to 5 pegs. But if you already have a spool knitter / icord maker then you probably don't need this.

If you like French knitting this gadget is perfect

I love French knitting, it is my new hobby as I am partially sighted, so this is good for me to use when wanting to do different lengths, and you can attach beads which are a bit tricky to begin with. The instructions are not easy to use, took a few goes to work out what is required.

Nice french knitter

This french knitter is a nice little set, it says not to use wire with it since the wire may damage the knitter. I tried it with some embroidery thread and it was really loose so I am not sure what kind of effect will happen when I use elastic cord with beads. The instructions are ok but it would have been nice if they had given some ideas on how to finish off the jewelry you make.

I am really enjoying this item its great little tool for making bead bracelets etc it takes me back when we used cotton reals to make tubes for various thing but this is lots better with loveky beads
