Great bag.
Excellent tool bag. I’m able to fit every tool I need for the jobsite. One thing I am disappointed in is the light. It works okayish. My batteries do end up draining when the light isn’t in use unfortunately. If it wasn’t for the issue with the light, I’d give it a 5 star review.

Finally, a good HVAC tool bag!
I have bought countless tool bags over my 18 year HVAC career and finally I have found a tool bag that fits the tools I use on a daily basis. Most importantly it's a backpack tool bag that fits my impact. The very large open bottom accommodates my meter, CO detector, inspection camera, and impact. I have zero complaints and would recommend to anyone in the HVAC field!

Met 90% of my expectations.
Bag arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to put my tools in it. For the most part, everything fits great! In the large compartment, there is plenty of room for my craftsman 12 volt impact with 3 batteries and charger. Elastic band to secure the charger and a pocket on that side to house the cord. Large enough pocket behind that for my case of impact bits. Up top is a zippered pouch that is perfect for zip ties and utility knives/blades. Here is the first downside: There is a strap on the left which appears to be for securing a drill/driver, but it comes no where near being large enough for such, and I have placed a hammer in its place and that works very well. There is still plenty of room in that compartment should I need a different power tool. The pockets on the other side of this compartment are well laid out and plentiful. I still have about a dozen or so left after placing an assortment of wrenches and screw drivers. Very happy with this side of the bag. Now as for the front side of the bag, it falls short in my eyes, but will be able to work around it’s short comings. It seems as though this compartment is just a tad to tight. If the bottom had a little give, I think it would be alright. I have some basic hand tools in the pockets on this side (pliers, vice grips, side cutters, etc.) I still have 5 pockets left, but fear if I fill these slots, I will not be able to close the bag. Maybe it will work itself out after some use. I will update if it does. As for size of pockets, I could not be happier! All my tools fit great! Just a few tools left to purchase and this will be a great go bag to keep in the car and to take to work when needed. My biggest complaint about the bag is the light. I fear it has fallen short in my expectations. When I first installed the batteries, I had to hit the power button a few times and then it turned on to full brightness, but then would NOT turn off! I had to take the batteries out. A few hours later, reinstalled the batteries, worked flawlessly for a few power cycles. Now I am at work, and if it does not function properly, I flex it in and out a few times then get a few functional clicks before having to flex again. Will call CLC and see how customer support is on that end. Overall I am happy with this bag and I believe boat maintenance will be a breeze with this bag.

Terrible zippers mean a short life for this backpack
I had hoped after making the move to a tool backpack that CLC would be able to handle the design needs of HVAC technicians, but unfortunately I have found that to not be the case. I have had my CLC backpack for only just over one year and the zippers have just been absolute crap. At first it was fine, but after about six months, the zipper track on the front compartment began to bind up in a few spots, and then one of the two zippers for the front compartment derailed. Then, about two months after that, the same thing happened to one of the rear compartment's zippers, and finally today the rear compartment's last functioning zipper has also derailed. Attached are pictures of my handtool layout and closeups showing the problem areas. Its unfortunate because the space this backpack provides is quite good compared to many others out there. I enjoyed the room for a small impact and a spare battery within the back compartment, for example, but the quality is just not there. This isn't my first issue with CLC zippers either; before moving to a backpack, I tried no fewer than two of their tool bags, each with the same zipper problem, first they would start binding up whenever you tried to zip and then the zipper would come completely off the rails. There's just something about this company and cheap shitty zippers that don't even last a year. Three strikes and you're out in my book, so after two bags and this backpack, I am done with CLC as a brand. I need my tool carrying solutions to last longer than a single year. That is not a big ask.

Great bag for trades men
I love the space in between the pockets and it fits majority of my sheet metal tools and more the only problem I seemed to have after my 5th month my zipper broke and some teeth to but it still does the job 4 out of 5 I recommend this Bag

Personal Preference
I’ve had this bag before and then tried the Dewalt version. I went back to CLC. I think it’s a great bag that holds up to a lot of abuse from an everyday worker.

Well made and good quality
As a service engineer I carry a lot of various tools so I need a bag that is lightweight but sturdy and well made and this bag ticks the boxes! I have went through countless bag over the years and think I have finally found one that meets my needs! My tools are now organised and easy to find and a quick check I can make sure I have put all my tools back! Being able to unzip and fold down both the back and front gives good quick access to all tools! This bag is the closest I will get to being the perfect bag for me short of designing my own lol!The light has 3 brightness setting and quite handy to have even came with batteries! Time will tell how the bag fairs with everyday use but so far I’m pretty happy with it.

Well worth it!
Good materials and stitching. I’ve loaded it so full of tools I can barely get it onto my back to carry it and it has yet to break or fail in any way. Personally I wish the center compartment had a tray-type option for more organization but I’ve added a technicians hip pouch to do the same task. The Rest of the guys at my work got them too and so far no one else has had any different of an experience, though I’m probably he most abusive of the people I work with.

Práctica y resistente
The media could not be loaded. Compre una Urrea y fatal ni el mes me duro, está está perfecta cargando 16kg, nada estorbosa, cómoda como backpack o desde agarraderas, lámpara poco funcional pero bien, recomendable al 100% y llega rapido
