a powder to cover the gray at the roots
I may have to reapply it thru out the day after I brush my hair, but for the most part it lasts put for a long time. It's not a cream or liquid but still delivers color well with a brush (included). I use the medium brown on my roots to cover the gray. I usually have to brush a few times to get the dark color I want. Sometimes I don't have to reapply the next day and it still holds the color, maybe because my hair is less clean. I use it often for touch ups in certain areas of my hair line. I notice it sells out pretty quickly. The price is usually between 9 to 14 dollars.

Easy to use
anyone who colors their hair needs this in their arsenal. I use it between colorings to touch up my gray roots around my face. It is basically an eye shadow palette type compact. You just brush the powder on with the included applicator. It stays in place. It comes out when you wash your hair.

Better than I thought!
This does the trick for someone with a handful of stubborn grays near the roots. Was not messy at all for me. Does not completely cover some stubborn strands but fades the contrast so it blends in. For reference I have the thick, dark hair typical of many Latinas.

Use very little
I've never tried anything like this before. It works great for those greys that pop up at your temple and hairline. The pigment is strong, VERY strong so you need very little. Lightly swipe the brush over the powder and lightly stroke over the grey, don't touch your scalp. It's also great for eyebrows. Just remember, a light touch is all you need.

Great but small product
I enjoy this powder for when my gray hair peaks through when I need a root touch up. Saves me time if I can’t dye my hair right away. I just felt that the product itself was small compared to the plastic packaging. If you need to cover a larger area the brush also needs to be swapped out with something else. However, the brush that comes in the compact is good for this gray stand alone strands.

Easy and versatile to use
I like the little mirror and the brush that goes with it, and I do like the color and the way it applies easily. In fact, I have used a smaller brush to use that color for eyeshadow! That’s the versatility of it! Very soft and easily applied to the hair, as well as, the eyes!????

Doesn’t make hair stiff
Have tried many touch up products and this is my favorite. Not sticky, doesn’t make hair feel hard and stay put till you shampoo. I combine the blonde and the red to get the perfect color for my roots between touch ups at hairdresser.

Covers well but up close it doesn’t look natural
I use this on my scalp along the partway and above my temples to cover my grays. It goes on easily, does not make a mess and, although I apply it in the morning, I have never noticed any colour transfer on my white pillowcases. Up close it looks a bit fake (chalky as opposed to micro hair strand looking application) but since I’m only using it for smaller areas it works perfectly for me. Dab a little along your part for the instant illusion of thicker hair!

Useless & Expensive
I don't know who are the people who reviewwd this product. It's just like an eyeshadow that too which hardly works, my greys were all visible even after multiple strokes, the product is extremely pricey for its job, the delivery took longer... I just feel I wasted my money. Not at all recommended... it didn't even cover the fine greys, what more? Not expected from a good company like Clairol... The grey root cover sticks are much better though cheaper ????
