Weak Straps
I am so disappointed. I am an attorney looking for a good bag to transport to court and carry my cases in. I have been using a Samsonite case for two years when the straps finally broke. I used wire ties to hold it together before purchasing this bag as a replacement. The key for me was to get a sturdy bag that would have stronger straps and be as large as possible. This bag certainly is large, but unfortunately was not sturdy. The material it is made out of is excellent, and in my small usage of it I did receive many compliments. I was impressed. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. I bought the bag last week and it arrived on Friday. Excellent shipment speed. I wasn't able to use the bag until today. I brought it with me to court, put one case inside, and still had plenty room more. It lasted the day, no issues. However, while walking in my driveway, on my way into my house, I suddenly felt a snap. The strap had broken. It appears a bolt of some kind was holding it to a weak, flexible metal, but it popped right out, ruining the strap. I'm going to have to contact Amazon and ship it back. Unfortunately, I already threw out my old bag (foolish of me) and also the box it came in. We will see how this return goes. As for what to do next, I'm not sure. I'm debating whether to give them a second chance, or try a different bag. In the future I will be carrying significantly more, and I cannot be worrying about dropping my bag due to a faulty strap. Update 5/5/2017: I sent the bag back and did end up getting a new one. After two years of use, this bag is still going strong. It has worn down a lot but has held up to the beating I've put on it. People frequently remark about how massive it is, but I love it. I am able to carry all that I need to without much difficulty. Ibwoukd recommend this bag, but be aware of the strap issue I previously had.

This is a REALLY big briefcase
From looking at the picture it does not appear to be as large as it actually is. I did find it to have plenty of compartments, very roomy interior, ample room for my 17" laptop, and I could even put stuff in it I normally carry in my purse, along with my phone and other items. When you have this bag you really do not need to carry anything else. It is a little heavy with the laptop in the bag but workable if you use the shoulder strap. I really like it, I just wasn't expecting it to be quite this BIG. I would not recommend carrying it every day but if you have to go out of town on business it more than serves the purpose.

Beautiful, Well crafted and...
...GiNORMOUS!! I ordered the jumbo because I carry a lot of "stuff". This unit has no problem accommodating everything that I need in an appointment - paper clips, small stapler, highlighters, post its and all fits into the bag inside their own individual plastic containers. I also carry a small laptop and a portable scanner. Again, roomy enough for both. The laptop compartment is separated so the electronics don't bump one another. Quite spacious. I ordered 3 jumbos - black, saddle & coffee because I have 3 distinct products/companies that I represent during the course of any given day and 3 bags eliminated me having to swap literature between appointments. In a hurry, I'd leave out a form or have the wrong leave back & need to dip back to the car...now each company has its own bag. I've had them for about 2 weeks now. Almost every client has commented on 1) the niceness of my bag - they are GORGEOUS...especially the saddle color and 2) they quickly mention that my is bigger than I am. Did I mention that the bag is GINORMOUS?? If you're a big guy or a wide woman, it won't be as overwhelming but I'm 5'2" and 128 so the thing overtakes my person. Not a complaint but I didn't realize that it would be so big in comparison to me. In summary - the bag screams prestige...durable so far but be forewarned - especially if you are small - the bag is truly JUMBO.

Roomy. Well made. Hard to find.
They could charge more for this briefcase. Quality. If you need lots of room this is for you. You could fit two 17” FAT laptops and an overnight suit change. Best for a strong man who travels and does not want wheels. The case is not heavy, but what my husband puts in it…….

Keep Shopping
Don't purchase this, it's not worth the money. This bag seems like a low quality knock off of the Robert Myers. I received mine missing the shoulder strap, missing the leather I.D. tag, scuffed up and one of the seams of the rear compartment had already come apart. The leather seems heavy duty but its not as high quality as it l looks on the screen. The zippers are plastic and the interior liner looks and feels cheap. Spend an extra $100 and get top grain leather and metal zippers. This bag won't hold up.

Great looking briefcase with room for everything!
I purchased this bag because my old briefcase was not large enough to accommodate traveling with a large laptop which I do for my job. After searching the options, I decided on this bag. I recently traveled from the US to Italy and used it as my carry on. I had my 17" laptop, Ipad, chargers and a change of clothes, and still had plenty of room. Several people i was traveling with complimented me on how it looks, which made me feel that it was worth the price. It really looks great. Before purchasing the Briefcase, I read one review here that stated the bag was not big enough for a 17" Mac book. This is NOT true. I use a 17" HP Envy, and there is plenty of room without removing any sort of insert that the review referenced. Maybe that review was for intended for a different bag. Shipping was quick like you would expect. I am very satisfied with my purchase
