I love this bag. But had an issue with the wheel bearings and contacted the company. They made it right and I am overjoyed with the result. Would highly recommend this bag to anyone that needs a rugged bag that last. Thanks SOLO New York!!!

Convenient

This roller is easy to move around. The file holder isn’t really durable, so I took it out. Taking the file holder out also gave me more space.

Still rolling strong a year later

Several of my co-workers who use this case recommended it to me last year. I am an airline pilot and use this case to hold all my charts and other essentials while flying. Overall this is a very good bag, however it depends on what you would use it for. Since I use this to store binders, flashlights, a headset, and a few other things, I took out the file folders. While I have never actually used the file folders, just by looking at the holder, I could tell it would not work well as a file holder. You can hang about 3-4 holders, but they don't seem to stay very well. I have been using this case almost daily for a year and it is still in great condition. The feet and wheels are still in tact and I don't see them breaking anytime soon. With that said, I do know several other pilots who have had the feet break off of their bag and have added metal plates to reinforce it. Probably my biggest complaint about this bag is the handle. It is difficult to put down. There is no button to press to `click it' in to place, so it is either fully up or fully down. The handle does not go down smoothly, you have to really push and wiggle it down to get it past the `click' lock. I usually strap this case to my suitcase with an `add-a-bag' strap, so I don't use the handle to roll it around much. The case does fit my laptop along with my binders and other items. I would not recommend using the sleeve. It is large, so if you do use it you should have a 17" laptop as anything less just slides around inside once you take it out of the case. Also, the sleeve only uses two pieces of Velcro at the top to keep it closed. It would be very easy for the laptop to slip out (and fall on the floor) while carrying it. A neoprene sleeve that fits your specific laptop would be a much better option. Overall I do like this bag. It looks nice, well constructed, and has plenty of room inside. It works great for my use, but if you need a rolling bag for hanging file folders, I would keep looking.

Almost perfect! Almost...

I LOVE THIS BRIEF CASE. I use it daily for work. I am now 8 months pregnant and I'm one of those ppl who has to have everything with me! My laptop, paperwork, etc. It holds a lot but the box itself is not heavy. I still lift it in an out of the the trunk daily I've been able to use it to transport heavier items like cases of water on top. It's spacious inside, yet had just enough compartments. I feel like my laptop is safe. The ONLY DISLIKE IS THAT THE HANDLE CAN PUNCH YOUR FINGER WHEN RETRACTING. SO BE CAREFUL! This left a nasty blood bubble on my finger for a couple of weeks that hurts! I've learned to keep my fingers on top of the black handle when pulling and i wouldn't recommend letting little ones mess with that part. Also I'm 5'1, it's the perfect height. I just roll it flatter and further away.

Missing Bar to Hang Folders

Bag is great. Appears sturdy and tolls easily. The storage is even more than I thought it would be. However, it was missing the bar on the side, so I can't actually use the hanging folders. Would like to be able to use that feature, but still a nice bag especially for the price

Lots of space, rolls ok but some drawbacks.

I bought this case to haul all my teaching stuff around campus. I have a good 10 minute walk over sidewalks between two of the classes I teach and have been using it for 3 months. Here is my evaluation: Good Very spacious inside compartment The top folds over twice, then the handle sticks through the two flaps and it clicks shut with two buckles. Large front pocket, fits my netbook. Smaller "organizer pocket" in front for pens, pencil. Very stable, the wide stance means it does not tip over easily. With handle down it is stable standing on its own. Handle is sturdy. The biggest compartment is very stiff, so it is easy to root around in it and look for stuff. Bad: The file folder holders (which are detachable) are useless. You can hang maybe 3 file folders on them, they always come off and they take up a lot of room. The wheels are plastic and loud when rolling across concrete (even the polished concrete indoors). Skate type wheels would have been better. The handle only clicks into place fully down or fully extended. Ugly: I hate how you have to put both flaps down and close the buckles in order to pick it up by the handle because the handle is attached to one of the flaps. Not sure how else they would design it though. Overall this works for me, but if you are dragging it on uneven surfaces I would look for one with skate type wheels.

Solid Bag

I'll begin by noting that I returned the bag only because it did not suit my requirements as well as I thought it might. Overall, it seemed to be solid and well built - everything worked smoothly i.e. zippers, wheels, extended handle. The laptop sleeve is very well padded and tucks into its own divider to keep from shifting around. The hanging folder brackets only allow for perhaps 4 or 5 lightly filled folders and are removeable for times you don't need to use them. I think it would benefit from a bit more additional storage pockets as the ones in the front zipped section are really just for cards, pens and a pocket for a cellphone (or similar shaped item).

Noisy

The case itself is generally quite good. The quality is satisfactory and it is generally sturdy. The only one single drawback is the "noise" this case makes when you roll it. The material used to make the wheels and the general design of the chassis make this just about the noisiest rolling bag in the entire airport. I actually had to stop using it as it was so loud and too much of a distraction. Not recommended for that one, single reason.

DOES NOT FIT A 17" :Laptop as Claimed ... !!!!!

It claims to hold a 17.3" laptop and DOES NOT! I have the Dell P M6800 and it is 17"! It does not fit in the case at all ! This should be changed by the Listing Agent! IT IS NOT TRUE! The DELL M6800 model measures 41 x 27 cm (~16.1 x 10.6 inches) and requires a slightly bigger notebook bag than one is used to. The well-known case of the Dell Precision M6800 is Sold at DELL but not THIS ONE!

Just okay

The bag is nice if you are not planning on using it daily as I don't think it would withstand a lot of use and overstuffing. Some parts are definitely flimsy but the number of pockets is nice. If you are looking for a work bag for everyday use, I would invest in something more expensive and sturdy. At this price though, can't complain! Works for my uses and is as expected after reading the other reviews.
