Practical bingo strap

I like the idea of keeping my binos handy, yet out of the way when practicing with my bow. I’ve even found them useful in hunting.

Perfect for a monocular

I like the length. I'm finally able to wear my monocular across one shoulder so that it is not in the way when I'm also carrying a backpack. I lost my precious monocular when the flimsy attachment that came with it failed. This strap feels much more secure.

Just what I needed.

Since my rifle rides on my chest and my pack is obviously on my back, I needed a better system for my binos. The vortex extended length strap allows me to carry my binoculars on my right hip, with my right arm through the strap.It's a simple fix and it is comfy. I can reach down and bring the glass up without adjusting my rifle sling. I'd give it five stars but the buckles are a little cheesy and I had to tie a knot (just in case) to prevent the tag end from working is way back through the buckles. As an added bonus, I can rest the binoculars on the end of my butt stock and glass, so long as I'm not trying to view downward. Lastly the only bad thing with this setup, when I'm sitting on the ground the binoculars can hit the ground even with the strap around my neck.

Better than the stock binocular strap.

The stock binocular strap was too short for me. This one is the perfect length, but, it slips loose way too often and then falls apart. I have to continually tighten the straps up, which gets annoying.

Worked like a charm

I needed something that wasn't on my belt, out of the way, wouldn't dangle, and I could let go of. This one fit the bill for all those things. I've gotten several deer now in my first archery season using my range finder attached to this. It only has one attachment point but without any effort I was able to rig it up. Make sure you loop it through the clasp as many times as you can, or your device may fall out the first time like mine did.

Great strap for run & gun

My cousins used a longer strap this past turkey season to be able to carry their turkey gear in a chest pouch. The sling allowed them to side carry their binocs. I tried the same system, and for times when I don't need a full chest pack bino case, this is the best "long" sling I have found!

Just What I Wanted

If you are shorter than I am (5'5"), this strap may be too long for you. I wear it across my body to carry my binoculars. I have it adjusted to the shortest length and it puts my binoculars low on my hip. For me it is just right and is very comfortable. The strap that came with my Nikons was causing black marks on my shirts when it was hot and sweaty, marks that I was not able to remove. I think the first few times I used this strap, it did cause a slight mark which I was able to get off. But now my shirts seem to be free of markings. I am happy with this strap.

Great Straps

These straps are very comfortable but I am 5’10 and at their shortest length they hang to my waste and are way to long. Overall they are good though!

A very useful bit of kit

I wanted to carry my Swarovskis cross body and the supplied strap was not long enough. Swarovski sent me adaptors to use any strap, and the Vortex fits the bill. It is plenty long enough and comfy - my wife and I both use it. I can now go for a walk with the binoculars to hand, and no neck ache. Not everyone will want to do this but those who do, will find this a very useful strap.

Vortex strap to be used under slung

I’m a birder and love the idea I can keep my 8x42 viper hd bin slung under any side of my body as it’s an extra long strap or keep them off my chest when walking 10/10 for quality as you would expect from vortex

Confortable

Très confortable. J’ai une taille suffisante (comprendre petit) pour utiliser les sangles de base en bandoulière, mais cette sangle apporte un plus grand confort. En effet, étant en néoprène, suspend agréablement la paire de jumelle dont le poids se fait moins ressentir.
