Good for the price, and holding up fine.

I used these as a way to turn a favorite sling pack of mine (Vanquest) into a regular ol two strap pack. I did some google searching before coming across these and could never really find anything "generic" that would work for this application. If I did happen upon a company selling replacement straps they were usually high end companies that wanted ridiculous prices for "just" straps. These aren't particularly padded, fairly stiff, and short compared to like say, jansport type backpack straps. I'm 5'11" and over 200lbs and the padded area terminates just under my arm pit so they aren't very long but long enough. They don't seem like they would be that comfortable but I've been using them for a few months now with a full pack, maybe about 20-25lbs give or take, and they are more than doing the job. So, not what they were meant for, but I'm happy with them for the price

Not for Summit Climber

Bought this to replace the original Summit carry strap. Felt good out of package, but was small. After putting it on the stand, realized quickly it would not work. Straps would slide all over, it was tight, with no room for adjustment, and came off the snap in buckle one time. Might work for something else, but not for a climbing tree stand.

Comfortable straps

Good quality, they feel more comfortable than the original issued ones. Put these on my ALICE pack and typically carry over 45lbs, but less than 85lbs. When running with the pack loaded down, the straps can start to slowly loosen. I managed by pulling them tight every so often- they are very easy to adjust while walking. Cant beat the price or the comfort

A for effort, D for execution. The top attachment straps on this product are uneven. I intend to use this on a source widepack to create a small patrol hydration pack I could separate from my main pack.. When mounting the straps, I noticed I had different lengths of surplus strap on each side. I then noticed that the plastic hardware was sewn at an offset, at different heights on the shoulder strap. It feels very awkward no matter how I adjust it because it's a hardware placement issue. I'm hoping the manufacturer has a solution, or would be willing to swap out for one with better QC.

Light duty

Not as hearty as they appear in the pic. Its not the companys fault. The pic is accurate, maybe I just assumed. Id consider these light duty. To install them on my summit climber I needed an extension loop at the top. They werent long enough. Fine for the money though. I'll use em until I find a better option.

If you need backpack straps you can't go wrong with these.

I bought these to replace the cheesy ones that came on a pest control sprayer backpack I bought. Loaded it weighs about 55 pounds. The padded straps make it very comfortable to carry that load and they handle it with ease. No broken buckles, nothing pulling loose under load, etc. They install and adjust easily and also can be easily popped loose to get out of the rig. Very sturdy and they look very professional.

Good Price and Fit

Attached these to a 13 gal trash can with paracord to make a cheap trappers pack to collect orienteering controls. Easy to attach. Padding is more than enough for the light loads I am carrying, the straps have good adjustment range, and the chest strap is a nice feature on these low cost straps.

Perfect for my needs

Echoing the other reviewer, bought these as replacement straps for my portable tree stand. Really takes the weight off and distributes evenly across shoulders/chest. Only issue is that if you lift with just one strap, it seems like anything over 40 lbs causes it to slip undone. Easily mitigated however.

Good straps, used as upgrade on old military rucksack.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are on about, but I received exactly what is in the picture. These straps are a good upgrade for military rucksacks with just nylon webbing for shoulder straps.
