Works for what it does. Why the bad reviews?
It's a wooden rectangle to fit the boveda packs. Who cares if the magnet doesn't stick well? Tiny packs of magnets with good adhesives are cheap. Or you can hot glue it. Or double sided tape. The product itself worked well enough when I got it. Stuck it in the bottom of my humidor with one big magnet in the middle to hold it. No complaints.

Obviously it's not solid spanish cedar. Mine came with already peeling apart. Not very impressed. For the price would expect higher quality. For the quality I'd expect a lower price. Won't be buying again and generally don't recommend. There's better options and alternatives out there.

Is it a name brand??? No... It's an off market brand... Does it work??? Yes... It does!!!
First off to address what a couple other reviewers have had issues with... 1. Is it flimsy??? No... "But" it is also not as thick, as the name brand wooden pack holder either ( 1/2" vs 3/4" )... 2. The magnets may not be the best, but I alleviated that issue, by using 5/8 Velcro coins on mine... This has an added effect which keeps the backside slots of the humidifier raised a bit more off of the humidor lid, which I prefer, and does so without exposing adhesive on any surface... 3. Mine does smell of Spanish cedar!!! 4. IF it's too expensive for you, simply do not buy it... Plain and simple... Ok now for the nitty gritty... I bought this for two reasons, the first being, it was cheaper than the name brand... And the second being, that said name brand doesn't even offer a single pack holder in Spanish cedar (at this time 09/2018)... They only offer it in Aluminum ... This is for a 12 stick desktop humidor, so there was no need for a 2 pack holder, and I just prefer cedar if at all possible... Just keep these issues in mind before making your purchase, and you will not be disappointed!!!

Great caddy, poor adhesive magnets (buy waterproof mounting tape)
I'm docking one star because the adhesive on the back of these magnets is absolute garbage, but the magnets themselves are fine. You will need to buy double-sided, waterproof, & solvent proof mounting tape to ensure that it stays on the wood. If you have a glass top like mine, the other side of the adhesive will stay put no problem. But, if it is wood, you will need to add tape to that side, too. Overall, the quality is nice, it smells great, but I did receive mine slightly bowed inward. I figured once I start seasoning it, it will swell up, and regain some shape. Overall, I'm happy. Just be aware that the adhesive is NOT good!

Class up those humidors!
This is a great product. I have bought 4 of them. In my glass top humidor, I put them underneath my stogies, and they definitely provide a much cooler aesthetic than the bare Boveda bags. In my wood top humidor, I use self adhesive magnets to attach the holders to the built in metal strips on the underside of my humidor top (so these replace the traditional humidification devices that came with the humidor). I will add that these single bag holders provide more flexibility than the Boveda branded double bag holders. Although I do not use the included Velcro tape that has been pointed out in other review as being not very sticky, I would suggest buying better aftermarket Velcro to make these holders work for you.

4 stars for fast delivery. 2 stars for item. Other reviewers are correct. This item does NOT contain magnet for mounting. You will have to provide your own magnet or Velcro.

I would definitely recommend seasoning it with the humidor or before installing it ...
It is a little expensive, but it definitely beats the price of the CNC router, or several hours with a hand router that you would need to replicate it. Works well for holding humidity packs in the lid of small desktop humidors. I have a 20ct. that I keep on the desk at work that I installed this in. I would definitely recommend seasoning it with the humidor or before installing it in one that is already in use. The holder sucks up all the moisture until it is seasoned. I was caught off guard by this, but in retrospect it makes perfect sense, the dry wood is completely encasing your humidity source. I ended up just re-seasoning the whole humidor because I put the holder in place with ample 3M double sided tape.

Could have been great.
Mine didn't include any mounting hardware. Also, it is dry as a bone so you might consider bagging it with a humidity source for a few days before adding it to a properly seasoned humidor.

Nice cedar Boveda pack holder marred by crappy mounting
I use Boveda packs in my humidor (which is just a sealed plastic storage bin). Though this would help keep things neater and provide more circulation. The Caddy itself is nicely made although not the most fragrant cedar. It fits the Boveda packs a bit loosely - I wish it was a bit snugger so they didn't fall out. The bad part is the mounting. It comes with a magnetic sticker and metal backing plate - you stick the plate onto the cedar, then the magnet onto whathever you want to affix the caddy too. The adhesive on both is strong enough, but the magnet just doesn't have enough holding power. I stuck this on the lid of aforementioned humidor and with the combined weight of the caddy and Boveda pack it falls off with even the slightest jostle.

Nifty for a traveldor
It fit a 10-15 traveldoor neatly and was able to attach it discreatly on my build.

Not as advertised
Did not come with adhesive or a magnetic mount. Arrived wrapped in plastic, not boxed. Wood was warped and could not fit a Boveda pack.
