A good product for the money
Reliable and easy enough to setup I was pleased to use these with my grow lights. It has seven days to choose from and you can choose some presets as well as make your own. This above mentioned is very helpful for whatever it is your growing, especially if it needs a photoperiod to change (cough cough cannabis) {except Auto Gang????} As I said you can save what happens to what day and go from there, spec it to your liking, then just walk off. There’s no instructions included with the used on that I chose, but it still wasn’t hard once I wrapped my head around it. The outlets work well and the covers closing is a welcome edition especially for ( cough cough high humidity ????️gang) especially if in a grow tent or somewhere humid (like near a humidifier. Point being it’s a compatible and well designed product and I’d be glad to purchase another one. Definitely worth the money for the grounding also, said switch is also equipped with batteries in the back to preserve your settings in case of outage.

Easy to use
I saw a lot of reviews saying it was hard to figure out. There's only a hand full of buttons and the display walks you through what each button does. If you want this to turn on and off at certain times, you set program 1 for an individual day of the week or set it to function on all days of the week. There are 7 programs available. But you only really need to set one. Then be sure you have your electric cord plugged into the outlets that are timed. The last step is to change the main home screen to auto. That's it. It works great, I love it.

Great product but
The media could not be loaded. If you have one of the mechanical timers you know they are noise, this solves that problem. This is a digital timer with 4 plugs on one side that is controlled by the timer. I have it come on twice a day for an hour to keep my battery’s up an ready. If you leave them on all the time somethings going to happen, burn up chargers or the battery. NOTE TO THE MANUFACTURER: you have 4 mounting hole on the back which forces you to hang it with the timer on top. Reverse it put the timer on the bottom so the power supply cord come out the bottom not the top. Other then that it’s a great tool

Great timer and surge protector
Easy to set up and program. 4 slots each for either always on or timer. Great design and function. Sturdy construction. Has and come with a battery to keep the timer going in case of a power outage. After experiencing a power outage I can honestly say that the battery helps to keep the time let on track so you don’t have redo any of your programming or adjust those timers that have the tiny not be you either have to pull up or push down. Definitely worth the purchase.

Exactly what was needed
What you see is what you get and is exceedingly easy to use. Arrived in a timely manner. Will get this product again, but I fear the quality is going to hold up for a long time -- 6/5 stars!

Accurate and easy to program
This timer performs as advertised. The clock runs on its own battery and keeps good time. The programming function is well designed and easy to use. The only reason I didn't rate this as 5 stars only pertains to those who might mount this on a vertical surface, as the power cord would be on wrong end at the top of the unit. Another improvement would be increased spacing between the receptacles as many devices use power bricks integrated with the plug. Of course this would require a much larger device.

Works excellently for my bearded dragon enclosures
Got one of these running two dragon enclosures and it works perfectly. The battery in it has come in handy to keep time through a couple power outages racently. The only negative is the manual doesn't fully explain setting the on and off time immediately. Long story short, when you're setting it up initially, you may have to set the clock wrong for a few minutes at first. If you want it to be on right after you set it up (your current time is in your on-time), set your cycle times first, set the clock to 1 minute before it would turn on, and let it transition into the on-time before setting the clock correctly.

Bought two, one died 7 months later
The other one is in storage so I don't know if it would have died too. The one that died just has all 8's showing on the display. Happened randomly. Simple program - just turn on and off with sunset/sunrise basically, two plugged in devices, small energy draw. Completely disappointing.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
I’m not sure where the stellar reviews for this glorified power bar have come from, perhaps the quality of this item has utterly disintegrated over the past few months; the power strip I received is utter garbage. Sure, it looks pretty when it’s plugged in and the “timer” is set, but after struggling with this thing for almost an hour (for some reason it has the capacity to accept SEVEN programs for four programmable switches) and trying to get the dratted thing to turn my light on and off at the programmed time on every single outlet that’s supposed to be programmable, I realized that the only switches working on this garbage are “On” and “Off”. The auto and random program functions don’t work whatsoever, so this thing is basically just a $50 dollar 8-plug power bar with a clock, without even the benefit of a surge protector. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, and I feel like charging General Electric for wasting my time on trying to make it work. Edit: Additional info subsequently gleaned from other reviews: - Apparently there IS a work-around to program the auto on/off function for the four left-side outlets, and make the “feature” works - check other customer reviews for details (because the included instructions sure don’t). - The four programmable outlets have a total of seven on/off programs, that operate ALL FOUR outlets. The programmable outlets CANNOT BE INDEPENDENTLY PROGRAMMED. When one turns on/shuts off, all four turn on/shut off. - I’m not the only person who had trouble trying to program this thing. If you insist on purchasing it, read other reviews BEFORE trying to make it function. Also note - the cord on this power strip (NOT A SURGE PROTECTOR) is only three (3) feet long, so if you want to use it to time a number of lights/appliances/media to turn on & off together to make it look like you’re home, they’d better be grouped in a cluster. Otherwise, prepare to have extension cords running everywhere. My take-away? It’s 2021 - “splurge” and buy yourself a two-pack of wifi outlets for $25, and control the timers with as many ons and offs as you like, right from whatever phone/tablet/computer/watch/whatever you’re using to read this review. But, at all costs, AVOID THE GE 06694 7-DAY DIGITAL PLUG-IN POWER STRIP TIMER - YOU COULD GET THE NEXT USELESS DUD. .

Works OK, no surge protection etc.
Works OK, no surge protection etc. Perfect to force a cable modem/router to shutdown and reboot every day (1 min downtime at 4:59AM back up at 5:00AM) for routers that dont have a scheduler. Big fan of the integrated battery that keeps settings. 1 more star if it had all the APC regular protections (faulty wire/surge/brownout protection).

Not worth the price
It works fine and this timer is not that bad to set up. People might say it's complicated, but there are much worst on the market. Beside this and no surge protection, I was quite satisfied, but then I realized the smart plugs are cheaper and easier to use.

Hasta el momento está funcionando perfecto, solo tuve que cambiar las pila ya que se acabó en 2 semanas, pero todo lo demás me ha sido muy útil.
