Tray can be tricky.
I got a Gourmia GAF536 for Christmas (my first air fryer) and it did everything! But as I had limited counter top space, it stayed on top of my stove in the back burner spot While cooking to beat the clock I didn't notice the front burner was melting the unit and tray. Bummer, as I said it was my first air fryer and I was hooked! But now it was junk and I needed a replacement fast, I won't be without one of these ever again. Started looking on Amazon for a replacement that was around $50, smaller footprint and had good reviews. The Chefman immediately proved to be what I was looking for and also for under $40. It came today and I began to check it out. The basket is considerably smaller than the Gourmia but it will do. As mentioned in the title, the basket seemed to get snagged when putting it in. On closer inspection I saw the tray has a tab that slides into a notch on the base of the unit. You have to slide the tray almost all the way in then at the last part move the tray slightly to left and right and it will pop right in place. I plugged it in but the power light didn't come on. I began looking for a power switch that I might of missed but discovered soon as you activate the temp knob and timer knob the lights come on. I also found it hard to see the index mark on both knobs so I marked them with an orange paint pen and it's much easier to see. Also the timer still works if the fryer is unplugged. Another review mentioned the timer has a one minute lag in it so when it gets down to the last minute the heat and power lights go out so it's something to get use to.

My favorite new appliance!!!
I use this little appliance almost as much as my toaster! It is soooo easy to use and makes the best of everything I've made so far. I highly recommend. This is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people.

Perfect size for 1 person
I use it daily. Easier than waiting for my oven to warm up. I made a grilled cheese sandwich with it. Easy to clean.

No instructions
I purchased this as a gift for my 98 year old grandmother. I hated the thought of her cooking with hot grease, so I figured this is a great alternative. There are no use instructions included with this product. I had to go on line and read reviews and watch videos. While it's not difficult, new technologies aren't always easy for her. Once I figured it out and explained everything, she's been using it with ease and often! Add instructions please!

Small and easy to use. Good for 2 people.
This air fryer is a great buy for cooking food for myself and my wife. The container is too small to hold more. For best results items to cook should be loosely packed. For best taste lightly oil the food before putting in the fryer. Easy to use, only 2 controls, temperature and time. Container is easy to clean after use.

The perfect fryer for a single person, maybe a couple.
I absolutely loved this cooker, everything from shipping to a dozen meals later I couldn’t have a better product. Obviously you are not paying for all the gadgets and displays of the more expensive models, and this sized fryer is most definitely meant for a single person or small portions for 2, but that’s why it’s perfect for me, small and doesn’t take up a ton of space. The simplicity of cooking in this machine is really what drew me as I’m a terrible cook, and now drumsticks, just pop em in and turn it on. Timer prevents things from being overlooked so you dont have to tend to things to prevent them from burning (comes with a time/temp chart for the perfect cook), just wait for the ding. You can put just a bit of oil on things you would normally fry if you’re after that slightly crunchy fried taste in things like fries or chicken. A much healthier alternative to deep frying, and less of a pain prepping cooking and cleaning too. Everything even oil just comes right off the bin. You can literally put just a bit of soap and wipe them off and it’s back as if it just came out of the box the first time. Highly recommend this air fryer if you’re cooking for one or maybe 2.

Great gift for mom
This was purchased as a gift for my elderly mother who lives on her own. She just loves the fryer. Easy to use. Cooks meals much quicker than the oven and meats are full of flavour.

Food turns out fantastic!
I received my Chefman Air Fryer a few weeks ago and have been using it pretty much every night. It's a perfect size for one person! I hesitated buying other air fryers for a couple of years because of their huge size, but then found this one. Just the right size and the food is fantastic and quick to cook. If I had one complaint about this product it would be that the little rubber feet that hold the tray on the inside, keep coming off. Other than that, it is quick and easy clean up even when cheese gets baked on from things like Mozzarella sticks. Overall, a great product for a single person. Takes up very little room, about the same amount of room as a coffee pot. Would definitely recommend this product.
